Time to vote for a new NRCC slogan!

Click on this link: http://www.nrcc.org/contest/default.asp?ID=135 to vote for your favorite slogan for the NRCC (the National Republican Congressional Committee) this election season! We've got to remove the loony left from their careers of being hell-bent on destroying the fabric of American life - AMERICAN CITIZENS! Has the Democratic congress worked for you? A big, fat "NO" is my answer. Why would we let a presidential candidate, of the same ilk, become the leader of the free world?

New art - queen diva-style

I'm still putting the finishing touches on her, but here's a picture of my new Queen folk art before all the bling is added. I decided not to put sparklies on her, as I wanted her to stay a bit rustic. All thats really left to do is more shadow work on her face, and then the crown jewels and neckline embellishments. She's the first one in a series. :) I just added two new funky flower pieces - one done entirely in acrylics (on wood), and the other is a collage piece (made from some cool, vintage style scrapbook papers). I'm also working on another series for the holiday season, which I will also offer as a commission piece. I'll unveil that one in a few weeks or so.

my ex-husband

I wish I had never laid eyes on the "man." He has a laundry list of questionable deeds going on in his life ... from a self-proclaimed church-going Christian at that. Divorce, adultery, pathological lying.... now we can add THIEF. He sure is racking up the karmic payback points. This time, the police are involved and another little nice surprise is about to head his way. I wish I could be there to see the look on his face...

New art!

I finished my first angel collage folk art piece, and it is now on ebay - up for sale on auction as we speak. More are in the works.... The Prancing Pink Poodle is also on ebay auction. I just finished photographing my next 2 pieces, and hopefully they'll be on sometime next week (along with the magnets and Christmas ornaments I have available.) I wish I didnt have to sell this pretty blonde angel, but I need the money - honey!

New look on eBay!

Every year, in January, I do a complete overhaul of the "look" of my ebay store listing layouts and About Me page. I decided to get a headstart this year, and do this monstrous task prior to the holidays. Why didnt I think of that before?! Check out the new "do!"

Here's the link for an example of an art listing:
Funky Nun & her Red Boots

And, here's the link for the new & improved About Me page:
Amy Jordan's eBay About Me page

Today, I'll rescan / photograph the magnets and Christmas ornaments in order to get those listed with the new layout. And then.... it will be time to start adding the new collage folk art I've been working on. I cant wait for the unveiling! :)

Prices will remain steady in the store, so watch for your favorite piece to go on auction and grab it at a steal. Happy bidding!

**************** UPDATE ********************************
My health insurance company just sent me a letter stating they are now going to pay all of the unpaid claims since September 2006! WoooooHoooooo! One fight down, the social security fight left to go. I feel like I just won the lottery!!
