I was taking a break from painting today, and started reading my "daily painting tips" emails that have been building up like Legos in my inbox... when I ran across this post in an art forum:

I'm in the middle of a commision piece and I've completely lost all interest in finishing it. It sits there staring at me every time I go into my studio space and I just can't make myself work on it anymore. Has any one experienced this before and got back on track? I don't have a deadline for it but it just makes me feel guilty every time I see it and chose to do something else.

This has happened to me more times than I care to admit! lol Unless someone has asked for a duplicate (painting it exactly the way I did it the first time), then I'm fine. If they are asking for a new creative vision, I get a stomachache. How can I possibly see inside their head?! lol Sooooo, in order to circumvent the gastric ulcer formation, I take "suggestions," or just say NO like Nike advocates. Works for me.

My last visit to the Neurologist

Last Wedneday, I had an appointment with my fairly new neurologist for this damn CIDP diagnosis. Last summer, when I was first diagnosed, he happened to be on call for my doctor, and I thought he was brilliant. He sat down for about 20 minutes in my hospital room and explained what was going on with me. I really appreciated the time he took, and the level of knowledge he seemed to possess. Well, now that I have been forced to switch to him due to insurance reasons, the scenario is quite different. I was in his office for about 45 minutes, and I walked away more frustrated than ever before. Its like getting a bill through Congress in trying to make him understand my symptoms, and how to treat them effectively. Since this past summer, I've been getting 1/2 the dose I normally get (from my old doctor), and its just not enough. I'm much weaker in my legs, arms, and hands, and my balance is so off, I look like a drunk trying to walk down an alley sometimes. There's a whole laundry list of other symptoms, that I wont go into, but suffice to say... I'm not getting enough IVIG to function at my best.... if there is a "best" in this life I call a living hell. I cant imagine any of my family and friends would be so selfish as to want this daily torture for me. I'm only going to be able to stand it for so long. If the doctors cant get their act together, and help me not feel like shit 90% of the time, then I'm going to take the matter into my own hands. I've had all I can stand of this life. CIDP is torture, but there are also other categories in my life that are never going to improve or change for the better. My family is in shambles. There is no support for anyone except when Mom is involved. I believe that John, Mom, and I are trying to make it better for us 3, but the rest of the members.... pride, mental illness, alcoholism, and just a downright refusal to admit mistakes and apologize and/or foster and maintain relationships are the obstacles. Sooner or later, there is going to be a really bad reason for my family to come together, but by then it will be too late. My only hope is that the event will jump start the process of healing for everyone. I dont have much faith that will happen. Time will tell though. My finances are another story. I cant afford IVIG, even with two insurances. I pay $1,000/month for health insurance. I'll never have my own place, and will be forced to live in that dark and depressing house. Dont get me wrong, I'm grateful for everything Mom has done for me... but I feel like a caged bird with broken wings thrown in a dark dungeon. I'd LOVE to have small apartment, so that I can have a dog... and be able to talk on the phone without "people" listening in on my business, etc etc etc. Its called Freedom. And, I crave and require it. Well, enough bitch-moaning and complaining for 1 session. I feel better getting it off my chest, if anything. Here's to another day of misery - cheers!

Week of the Heebie Jeebies & poetry

I spent a wonderful week with my nieces and nephews, who I can officially call, and with great affection, my little heebie jeebies. Jodi came through her time away from home beautifully. John was a little tired with only a little red around his eyeballs for the wear. Each child has their own beauty inside and out, and after spending such quality time with all of them... one favorite was not to be found, instead I discovered that they all were. I had a 4-day reprieve from the cage in which I live - trapped in body and circumstance on a daily basis. Now, its back to the same old grind. ... Due to another passive-aggressive maneuver within the caging walls of this house, I retreated to my fish bowl room, and read poetry online. Here's my attempt:

I'm sick and tired, and tired of being sick...
why does God think I can stand even one more lick?

The clock keeps ticking, its heavy on my heart,
from this hateful world I long to depart.
Tears and anger and guilt and dread,
emotions pile up way over my head.
I yearn for the time when my illusions were real,
at that tender age I was able to feel.
Bomb after bomb, emotional pain has exploded,
damage reports show that my heart has unloaded.
I dont see an end to this merciless state,
as I plod slowly circular in this passion-free fate.

I'm sick and tired, and tired of being sick...
will God deny me the favor of even one more kick?

Boycott Miller Brewing Company

Its past time for the majority in America to stand up and put a stop to the disgusting behavior of the Miller Brewing Company. Not only do they support illegal alien protests, they sponsored the “Folsom Street Fair” in San Francisco, billed as the “world’s largest leather event.” I'm all for people having the freedom to do what they want, as long as they arent hurting anybody or breaking the law, but this is ridiculous. Take a look at the ad promo for this event. This foul poster depicts the Last Supper as a bunch of S&M'ers with sex toys, instead of bread and wine. And, the MBC thinks this was a great idea to have their name associated with this? alienating the majority of Americans who are Christians? You can rest assured that I wont be giving my hard earned money to this company... because of their position on both issues aformentioned. We, as a nation, have completely lost all sight of whats morally right and wrong. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see pictures, such as the one above and below. Some lunatic thought it was a-ok to bring their CHILD, dressed in S&M leather fashion, to this event. Incredible. That poor baby doesnt stand a chance in hades with wacko parents like that. BOYCOTT the MBC!

We FINALLY have the capability to delete our own products at Zazzle! WoooHOOOO! I spent the afternoon cleaning Zazzle house. Out with the old, and in with the new. I didnt have a clue as to what I was doing at Zazzle when I first started last November. I still dont...lol, but at least I have some experience under my belt. Thursday (posting late) and TLOFA new ebay group

Today was jam-packed, and I made it through without falling, although I came close a few times. I had lunch with Karen at Pastis' in historic Roswell. Had a very nice time, and its always good to see her. I hope to hear that she's feeling better in the next few days... she's had enough going on without adding "not feeling good" to the list. Then, Mom and I met back at the house to go shopping. My transmission light came on again when we were halfway to our first 2 stops (Dick Blick and Staples), and so we drove back home to switch cars. Drove down to NorthPoint Mall, where I had some major returning to do. I have to buy clothes online these days because I'm unable to lift the wheelchair in and out of the car by myself. I wasnt too confident of my legs, since I fell 2 days ago, so we thought bringing the WC was the best bet. I FINALLY found some shoes that are easy to get off and on, and they're stylish, too! While Mom was in Williams-Sonoma, I rolled off to the Godiva shoppe and bought her some chocolate as a thank you for taking me, and then I also found 2 very nice smelly Yankle candles that I gave to her to use in the den and kitchen. She liked both of them. The house is going to smell great! The only other treat I wasnt able to get was the decorative metal grate that goes on top to keep the candle sides from turning black. I'll just order that online for her. WE also made a quick pit stop for some artsy magazines at Hobby Lobby, then finished our day off by getting salads at Brookwood Grille. Yum! By the time we did all of that, my body was about to raise a surrender flag. I hurt all over, my muscles were getting very weak, and my imbalance issues were at full throttle. It's almost 2am, and I still cant sleep because I still hurt (even though I've taken all of my medicines.) I'll just sleep in tomorrow! --- A few days ago, I joined the neatest ebay group called TLOFA: The Ladies of Folk Art. They are all so nice, and I'm really glad to be a part of them. See their banner above! I've been trying to play catchup by reading past posts, and also trying to meet everyone and stay current. Its been a lot of fun so far meeting everyone, and their discussions are spurring me onto to learn new art forms... doll-making, particularly. Ok, my eyeballs just hit the keyboard. Time for sleepy ni-ni..........

a new look & some rantings

This blog just got a facelift! ... This afternoon, I fell for the first time in 4 months. My legs just gave out on me, and they have been getting progressively weaker all evening. My neurologist hasnt been exactly helpful, since I started seeing him this summer, and I'm not looking forward to giving his office a call in the morning. #1, he doesnt listen, and #2, his nurse is rude on the phone. I'm just ready to give up on everything. Sometimes I wonder if this life is all about seeing how much shit a person can take before they crack wide open. It's always amazed me why some people seem to glide through life without anything major happening to them, and others get the full dustpan of crap hitting the fan day after day. It's all relative, I guess. Speaking of relatives... let's just say I have a Mom and a brother. Thats about it for family support. It's a good thing in many ways. I'm too tired to deal with either their behavior or refusal to deal with reality on sensitive subjects. It's hopeless. On a side note, I've noticed that I've gone from capitalizing the word "life," to not doing so. Hmmmmm... I wonder what Freud would say about that. One thing I do know for sure... something bad is going to happen, sooner or later, and its going to force the members of my family to come together. Whether the forced reunion will wake everyone up is another story.

I kinda think its pretty cool to add this digital effect to this painting! Once Zazzle lets us edit and delete our own products, I'll be making some major changes to some products. I dont want to lose my TBS's, other awards, but most of all... the wonderful comments people have left for me on them. This digitally enhanced version won a Today's Best on Zazzle for the greeting card product! I love getting those, as it lets me know there's someone out there who appreciates my ork as much as my Mom does ...lol I'm about to list the REGAL QUEEN on ebay this week, probably Wednesday. I hope the ebayers love her as much as I do! In the works, I've got a couple of cats (been working on new faces and such to add along with BoBo), nurses, and more angels. Its going slowly, no doubt. Life has been such a drag lately...

Nancy left on Sunday for St. Louis... probably for good. I am really down about it. I hope she comes back, as she's been the best friend anyone could ever ask for. - Here's another new piece of art thats up for auction on ebay right now. I used plenty of glazes... layers upon layers... for this background, and it has great depth to it. Of course, its much better in person, as the pictures dont do it justice. I'm really liking this collage-type art. Its helped me try a lot of new things and ideas... most of which are still on the drawing board. Lots of fun! New art - queen diva-style

I'm still putting the finishing touches on her, but here's a picture of my new Queen folk art before all the bling is added. I decided not to put sparklies on her, as I wanted her to stay a bit rustic. All thats really left to do is more shadow work on her face, and then the crown jewels and neckline embellishments. She's the first one in a series. :) I just added two new funky flower pieces - one done entirely in acrylics (on wood), and the other is a collage piece (made from some cool, vintage style scrapbook papers). I'm also working on another series for the holiday season, which I will also offer as a commission piece. I'll unveil that one in a few weeks or so.

I just finished photographing my next 2 pieces, and hopefully they'll be on sometime next week (along with the magnets and Christmas ornaments I have available.) I wish I didnt have to sell this pretty blonde angel, but I need the money - honey!

The letter from Social Security came today, and as Dr. Knowlton predicted, I was denied disability. He says they do that to everyone the first time around. The thing is,... I dont have any fight left in me anymore. I've also got the contiuing headache from my health insurance company, and they are STILL trying to get out of paying for the very drug (IVIG) that has kept me from being bedridden. Although, they overturned their decision based on the 150 pages of material proof I sent them... they are feigning innocence to all of the repeated written and verbal communications I sent them regarding dates of service starting in August 2006. Do they think I'm stupid? One way or another.... they WILL pay what they're supposed to pay as governed by the very laws of their own contract combined with my personal situation. (sigh). I dont know how these people sleep at night... I feel like crying myself to sleep.... and sleeping for a month. ... On a much happier note, I have 211 votes on Fake Mascot Zazzle Contest entry! This research will reveal the betrayal of the American people by a government cabal who are bent on destroying our sovereignty in order to create a North American Union. As For Why Most Americans are Unaware of the CFR Organization . . .

The chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) for 15 years, from 1970 to 1985, was David Rockefeller who also founded the Trilateral Commission and is its honorary chairman. His father John D. Rockefeller and brother Nelson purchased and then donated the land beneath the United Nations (UN) for $8.5 million dollars, then claimed it as a charitable deduction.(1)

As for how the machinations of the CFR have remained unnoticed . . . in 1991 in Baden-Baden, Germany, David Rockefeller gloatingly said: "We're grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government.."(2)

In other words, Americans are to be treated like mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed plenty of you know what!

CFR member Richard N. Gardner, who in a 1974 Foreign Affairs article titled: "The Hard Road to World Order" wrote: In short, the "house of world order" will have to be built from the bottom up rather than the top down. It will look like a great "booming, buzzing confusion" [like the chaos of an overwhelming illegal alien invasion combined with the uncertainty of 'the war on terror' which will provide cover for] . . . an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, [which] will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault .(3)

And what does David Rockefeller say about his work?

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interest of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists ' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."(5)

What colossal arrogance! Like other globalists, he loses sight of man's humanity and the very fundamental nature of what it is to BE human. Mankind will ALWAYS resist subjugation and will ALWAYS struggle to have and maintain their freedoms . . . after all . . . for us Americans . . . it is the very essence of what it is to BE an American.

Here's Rockefeller's 1973 View on Communist China . . .

"The enormous social advances of China have benefited greatly from the singleness of ideology and purpose . . . The social experiment in China under Chairman Mao's leadership is one of the most important and successful in history."

The Cultural Revolution claimed the lives of nearly 100 million people in order to achieve the 'success' that David Rockefeller admires. One might question just how he can reconcile those deaths and consider it something of value and worthy of praise instead of being condemned for its abject horror and inhumanity. Perhaps Mr. Rockefeller needs a little 're-education.'

How Did the CFR Get Embedded in Our Government?

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) was incorporated in New York on July 29, 1921, as the American branch of the Institute of International Affairs while the British branch was called the Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA). The original membership included Colonel House, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Paul Warburg, Otto Kahn, and Jacob Schiff who had previously engineered the creation of the Federal Reserve System.

The RIAA leadership was comprised of members of the Round Table which was started by Cecil Rhodes in the 1800's which was designed to "federate the English speaking peoples of the world, and bring it under their rule".

"In September 1939, two members of the Council on Foreign Relations [CFR] visited the State Department to offer the council's services."

"They proposed to do research and make recommendations for the department without formal assignment or responsibility, particularly in four areas - security armaments, economic and financial problems, political problems, and territorial problems. The Rockefeller Foundation agreed to finance the operation of this plan."

"From that day forward, the Council on Foreign Relations has placed its members in policy-making positions with the State Department and other federal agencies. Every Secretary of State since 1944, with the exception of James F. Byrnes, has been a member of the [CFR] council."(6) The trend continues on as both Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell are members of the CFR.

Others Who have Spoken Out About the 'Shadow Government':

"Rear Admiral Chester Ward, USN (Retd.), who was a member of the CFR for sixteen years, has written, 'The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common--They want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the United States."(6)

"Felix Frankfurter, Justice of the Supreme Court (1939-1962) said: The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes."(7)

"In a letter to an associate dated November 21, 1933, President Franklin Roosevelt wrote, The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the large centers has owned the government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson." (7)

In a speech given on February 23, 1954, Senator William Jenner warned America: "Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government, a bureaucratic elite which believes our Constitution is outmoded."(7)

In fact, the Constitution is far more than 'outmoded,' according to President Bush who rebuffed GOP leaders' request to soft pedal some parts of the 'Patriot Act' by saying: "I don't give a goddamn . . . I'm the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way." Then, responding to an aide who stated: "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution." Bush screamed back: "Stop throwing the constitution in my face . . . It's just a goddamned piece of paper!"(8)

As for the 'bureaucratic elite' of wealthy globalists who function as the 'Shadow Government' . . . their ultimate goal is a so called NEW World Order, which is course is NOT NEW but is, in reality, a ONE World Order. To that end, Franklin Delano Roosevelt managed to condemn their monopolist lust from the grave in a message found enshrined on the FDR memorial in Washington, D.C.:

And What Does a World Controlled by the United Nations Look Like?

Written in 1962 and prepared by the Institute for Defense Analyses submitted to the Department of State: "A world effectively controlled by the United Nations is one in which "world government" [One World Government (OWO)]would come about through the establishment of supranational institutions [such as the UN], characterized by mandatory universal membership and some ability to employ physical force. Effective control would thus entail a preponderance of political power in the hands of a supranational organization [i.e. the United Nations] rather than in individual national units [like the United States], and would assume the effective operation of a general disarmament agreement. While this supranational organization -- the United Nations -- would not necessarily be the organization as it now exists, the present UN Charter could theoretically be revised in order to erect such an organization equal to the task envisaged, thereby codifying a radical rearrangement of power in the world."(9)

Are we there yet? Think UNESCO, LOST, Earth Charter, Agenda 21, Areas Foundations, CANAMEX, 'Global Warming' and the Kyoto Treaty, the World Court, The Hague, WTO, GATT, NASCO, NAFTA, CAFTA and all the rest of the alphabet entities granted external control over the sovereign nation of the United States of America.

Coming up . . . the FTAA (Free Trade Areas of the Americas), the final nail in America's coffin. The Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) is an attempt to expand the failed North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) to every country in Central America, South America and the Caribbean, except Cuba. Negotiations began right after the completion of NAFTA in 1994 and were supposed to have been completed by January 1, 2005. Sovereignty? For how much longer?

The Goal of the Globalists Is To Gain World Monopoly

According to "Antony Sutton, a research fellow for the Hoover Institution for War, Revolution, and Peace at Stanford University . . . 'While monopoly control of industries was one the objectives of J.P. Morgan and J.D. Rockefeller, by the late nineteenth century the inner sanctums of Wall Street understood the most efficient way to gain an unchallenged monopoly was to 'go political' and make society go to work for the monopolists-- under the name of the public good and the public interest'."(7)

"Frederick C. Howe revealed the strategy of using government in a 1906 book, Confessions of a Monopolist: These are the rules of big business . . . Get a monopoly; let society work for you; and remember that the best of all business is politics . . . "(7)

To fully understand the truly 'dark side' of a monopoly, how about using "food as a weapon" as was once declared by Henry Kissinger. It is strongly suggested that you read this article on the future of genetically (read patentable and monopolized) engineered seeds. All food starts with seeds and there is now a patent by Delta & Pine Land, which is about to be acquired by Monsanto, because they engineered a 'Terminator' seed which cannot be used for the next year's crop because it automatically self-destructs at the end of the growing season. How sick is that?

Follow the twisted devious financial and political connections to its conclusion where in the final three paragraphs you will find that: "The key scientific member of the Delta & Pine Land board since 1993 has been Dr. Nam-Hai Chua. Chua, 62, is also head of the Rockefeller University Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory in New York, and has been for over 25 years, the labs which are at the heart of the Rockefeller Foundation's decades-long development, and spending of more than $100 millions of its own research grants to create their Gene Revolution. Until 1995, Chua was also a scientific consultant to Monsanto Corporation, as well as to DuPont's Pioneer Hi-Bred International. Chua is at the heart of Rockefeller's Gene Revolution. And, clearly, Delta & Pine Land and their research on Terminator have been in the center of that work."(10)

A De Facto Global Economy!

If you think about it, by sending our manufacturing base to Mexico or other foreign countries, the globalists have FORCED America to become global when in the past we were self-contained and produced all we needed for ourselves and exported our excess around the world. Now we are dependent on countries like China, etc., to supply stores like Wal-mart with nearly all of its merchandise. Say what you want about Wal-mart, but their inventory includes nearly everything a person might need at a price working Americans can afford to pay, since wages have not kept pace with inflation.

In fact . . . later in this research, you will find that the cabal working toward the NAU has gone one step further and created non-profit foundations to develop many of the road and infrastructure projects that are planned under NAFTA 'plus' called the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP). This means that NO TAXES will enter the coffers of America's government till. Even worse . . . you will find that they are using all manner of federal tax dollars to fund some of the 'non-profit' projects that are already in place. Clever by half, wouldn't you say. Take taxpayer dollars, make money and pay no taxes in return while America, by default, becomes the North American Union.

The 'Shadow Government has begun their 'race to the finish' and have become ever more arrogant and bold. They have concluded that they are so close to complete conquest that they are ever more blatantly flouting our Constitution and laws than you can ever imagine in your wildest of dreams of hell on earth.

Didn't you ever wonder why CAFTA was passed in the House by two recanted votes after the time for voting had expired? Especially in light of the fact that most ordinary people would agree that NAFTA has been such a devastating failure for both Mexico and America.

Didn't you ever wonder why the Senate told 83% of 'We the People' to 'go to hell' when they passed the amnesty bill S. 2611 which will add 100 million people to America in the next ten years according to Dr. Robert Rector of the Heritage Institute. That number is a CONSERVATIVE estimate since statisticians extrapolated those numbers from the 2000 census to arrive at the totally bogus figures of 10-12 million illegals.

In "1968---The Hispanic organization, the Southwest Council of LaRaza Unida, is created with a $630,000 grant from the Ford Foundation, which supports the movement to bring massive numbers of Mexicans into the U.S. From 1968 to 1992, Ford Foundation grants to radical Hispanics totaled over $31 million. And according to Henry Santiestevan (former head of the Southwest Council of LaRaza), It would hardly be an exaggeration to say that the Ford Foundation is the Chicano movement."(14)

Included in the list of well financed 'radical Hispanic' groups are the National Council of La Raza (i.e., The Race), MALDEF and LULAC. One other caveat is that the US Attorney General Gonzales is rumored to be a card carrying member of NCLR, a charge that he has never denied. What better way to achieve the goal of a North American Union than to arm a '5th column' of rabid racist Hispanics organizations that will support massive illegal immigration creating a de facto elimination of our borders as the CFR desires. Some wags have even said that the CFR initials probably stand for Carnegie, Ford and Rockefeller.(15)(16)

Along with the non-profit foundations that are funding the racist reconquista rabble, there has been a concerted effort by our own government to aid and abet the massive illegal alien anarchy you see in our streets. Then There Are Those Americans Who Are NOT Funded by the Non-Profits:

For example, the VA nurse mentioned above or one George Barisich who lost everything in Katrina, his business, his home . . . while at the same time his extended family "lost 14 of their 17 houses in St. Bernard," Louisiana. Barisich was ticketed after six DHS security officers surrounded him in his vehicle on a Wal-Mart parking lot for giving away a T-shirt which said: "Flooded by Katrina! Forgotten by FEMA! What's Next, Mr. Bush?" The parking lot was considered 'federal property' because there was a FEMA center located elsewhere on it. Barisich was there picking up canned goods from a charity relief tent.(20)

Or . . . Jan Hall, an Orange County Florida, Sadler Elementary School teacher who wrote a letter to her congressman that was confiscated by someone who translated it and had it published in the Spanish language newspaper El Nuevo Dia to incite hate and anger against her. You can find the original handwritten letter here: (21) As a result, Jan Hall was immediately suspended without pay, and threatened with loss of her teaching license after 33 years of teaching.

All this was done before a thorough investigation and in violation of her civil rights. Ms. Hall is now pursuing a $20 million dollar lawsuit against the school and its administration stating: " . . . you nevertheless, chose to use her exercise of these clearly protected Constitutional rights as grounds to suspend her without pay, to publicly disparage and humiliate her, to demonize her in the Greater Orlando community . . ."(22)

Unfortunately today, it takes a law suit to preserve your constitutional rights.

Then There is the 'Back Door' Approach to Eliminating America's Sovereignty . . .

By auctioning off America to the highest bidder, no questions asked as . . . "According to the Secretary of the Department of Transportation, Norman Mineta, 'We are like a poker game. We are inviting people to the table and saying, bring money when you come'."(23)

Didn't you ever wonder who CFIUS was when you heard they approved the Dubai Ports deal?

Its full name is the 'Committee on Foreign Investment in the US' which falls under the aegis of the U.S. Treasury Department. CFIUS was established in 1975 by Gerald Ford's Executive Order 11858. An Executive Order is legislation by Presidential fiat! Then in 1988 Ronald Reagan delegated his oversight to CFIUS by Executive Order 12661. This order required CFIUS "to submit a report and recommendation to the President at the conclusion of an investigation."(24)

If you will recall, it was CFIUS that insanely approved the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Ports World (DPW) takeover of 6 of our major seaports. Remember . . . it was a 'done deal' by time the sale became public. The committee works in SECRET and makes SECRET decisions. CFIUS has reviewed 1500 cases and blocked only ONE! The Dubai deal was approved even after several federal agencies objected to it on security grounds. Only when there was public outcry did the deal come under scrutiny.(25)

What was interesting was that George Bush professed 'no knowledge' of the deal even though CFIUS is required to submit "a report and recommendation to the President at the conclusion of an investigation." "The Committee has 30 days to decide whether to investigate a case and an additional 45 days to make its recommendation. Once the recommendation is made, the President has 15 days to act," if necessary to block the deal.(26)(25)

Was Bush lying about his knowledge concerning such a massive transaction with obvious major security implications or was it simple incompetence? He should have known if CFIUS was abiding by the rules. Compounding the felony, President Bush "threatened to veto any attempt by Congress to kill the port deal."(27)

Many Americans understood that: "The [DPW] deal is yet another plot, approved in secret, which would undermine American national security and sovereignty for the benefit of the transnational political and commercial plutocrats who manage government and business across the globe."(28)

The Gov't Provides Bogus Propaganda AFTER the Dubai Deal Comes Under Fire

Read about the Dubai Ports World deal that the Treasury Department and DHS (Dept. of Homeland Security) dutifully spewed forth in defense of the CFIUS approval. Be sure to wear you 'hip boots' when you wade into these three propaganda 'reports.'(29)(30)(31)

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) threw in its two-cents worth of propaganda during the Senate debate on the U.S.-Oman free trade agreement with a fatuous non sequitur which stated: "Congress may not appreciate what is at stake. Far from being in continuous conflict, open capital markets and national security support one another. A strong economy is part of national security . . . "(32) Douglas Holtz-Eakin OK

Isn't that backwards? Shouldn't the WSJ have said that a strong national security provides 'support' for the economy? Isn't it paramount that security NOT be a part of the economic engine so that the 'almighty dollar' couldn't trump security measures? Isn't that common sense? After all the Wall Street Journal is prima facie evidence of those who would prostitute themselves in pursuit of that same 'almighty dollar.'

In the Dubai ports deal, it didn't seem to matter that "the United States already prohibits foreign direct investment in such industries as maritime [e.g., Dubai Ports World], aircraft, banking, resources, and power. Generally, these sectors were closed to foreign investors to prevent public services and public interest activities from falling under foreign control, but again primarily for national defense purposes."(33)

The Exon-Florio law under which CFIUS operates was written so that it "gives the President broad powers to block certain types of foreign investment" especially those involving issues of national security.(33)

The NEW 'Mall of America'!

Little did they know that CFIUS and President Bush would run this country like a giant shopping mall. We find that BOTH parties willfully ignored the national security issues raised by multiple federal agencies during their review of the Dubai Ports World deal.

Outrageously, after the Dubai Ports World debacle, CFIUS decided to sell U.S. military parts manufacturing facilities to Dubai. Yet another anti-security deal. This time there were no objections heard from Congress. Perhaps they were too 'worn out' from racing to the TV cameras during the 'ports deal' which left them incapable of proffering any objections against a similar national security issue.(34)(35)

What Other 'Fire Sales' of Taxpayer Paid Infrastructure Have Been Made? Read on . . .

How many other secret deals and secret meetings to sell our infrastructure to foreign countries have there been, and will there be in the future? Look around, see all of the infrastructure paid for with our tax dollars that is up for sale to the highest bidder. Roads, bridges, ports, waterworks. It doesn't matter WHO the buyers are!

One example . . . "RWEAG, a German owned utility company purchased the American Water Works in 2001 for $7.6 billion. the American Water Works was founded in 1886 and serves 1,300 communities in 23 states from the East Coast to the West Coast." But guess what . . . its up for sale again! And, because of "unusually high rate increases and declining maintenance" . . . America's mayors are saying "we want control of our own water."(36)

Another example . . . "On a single day in June, an Australian-Spanish partnership paid $3.8 billion to lease the Indiana Toll Road. An Australian company bought a 99-year lease on Virginia's Pocahontas Parkway, and Texas officials decided to let a Spanish-American partnership build and run a toll road from Austin to Seguin for 50 years."(37)

In Chicago "last year, the city sold a 99-year lease on the eight-mile Chicago Skyway for $1.83 billion. The buyer was the same consortium that leased the Indiana Toll Road -- Macquarie Infrastructure Group of Sydney, Australia, and Cintra Concessiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte of Madrid, Spain."(37)

In Orange County, CA . . . [t]he road, part of state Route 91, was built and run for $130 million by California Private Transportation Company, partly owned by France-based Compagnie Financiere et Industrielle des Autoroutes. The toll road opened in 1995. Seven years later, Orange County was looking at gridlock. But it could not build more roads because of a provision in the lease. So it bought back the lease -- for $207.5 million.(37)

A Compilation of Still More Examples . . .

"Virtually every week brings fresh evidence that highway tolling and private financing are gaining new converts among governors and state transportation officials, in state legislatures, and in the media. Growing transportation budget shortfalls, eroding value of highway tax revenues and a supportive federal policy toward tolling and public-private partnerships have helped to nurture the idea. Fanning its spread are visions of highway projects built entirely with private funds, and prospects of multi-billion-dollar concessionary cash payments that could jump start ambitious transportation improvements years in advance of their planned execution."(38)

The highways were built with taxpayer dollars and the new owners intend to make you pay tolls on roads you have built. To whom do we turn if they do not maintain and upgrade the infrastructures when needed? Will they be accountable to 'We the People?' One concept behind the Eisenhower national interstate system was that it was to be FREE. Clinton's Executive Order put an end to that and our Congress went right along. Lastly, these private companies will use the Supreme Court's Kelo decision to permit the TAKING of private property for private gain. And . . . these entities will hire Washington insiders to pry every single dollar from the federal government they can while building these toll road systems.

As for the those who have spoken out and 'hit the nail on the head' . . . "Patrick Bauer, the Indiana House's Democratic leader, says such deals are taxpayer rip-offs. Bauer believes Macquarie-Cintra could make $133 billion over the 75-year life of the Indiana Toll Road lease -- for which Indiana got $3.8 billion. 'In five, maybe 10 years, all that money is gone, and the tolls keep rising and the money keeps flowing into the foreign coffers,' . . ."(39)

Who's Responsible For The Massive Push To Sell America Out From Underneath Us?

It is a fact that the direct selling of our infrastructure to foreign countries is in violation of the Constitution, Article I, Section 10, Clause 3. It is also a fact that such sales are in direct contravention of the Exon-Florio laws which mandates the prohibition of "foreign direct investment in maritime, aircraft, banking, resources and power." Why then is the Committee on Foreign Investment in the US (CFIUS), which conveniently falls under the aegis of the U.S. Treasury Department, and individual local or state governments being allowed to continue doing so with regularity and rapidly accelerating speed?

As for WHY our infrastructure is being auctioned off to the highest bidder, mostly foreign investors, the answer is because George H. W. Bush, a One World Monopolist, wrote and signed an Executive Order (E.O.) 12803 on April 30, 1992 commanding that it be done. That E.O. was published in only two places, Cornell University and by waterindustry.org which has since been taken down.

Executive Order 12803, Section 1 under 'Definitions' it states the following . . . "For the purpose of this order:

(a) 'Privatization' means the disposition of or transfer of an infrastructure asset [read taxpayer funded and owned], such as by sale or by long-term lease, from State or local government to a private party.

(b) 'Infrastructure asset' means any asset financed in whole or in part by the Federal Government [read taxpayer financed] and needed for the functioning of the economy [if we need it why are we selling it?]. Examples of such assets include, but are not limited to: roads, tunnels, bridges, electricity supply facilities, mass transit, rail transportation, airports, ports, waterways, water supply facilities, recycling and wastewater treatment facilities, solid waste disposal facilities, housing, schools, prisons and hospitals." A BREATHTAKING LIST!

Following Bush's lead, Bill Clinton, issued another unlawful Executive order E.O. 12893, which, just like all the actions prompted by the Shadow Government, is ALSO a little known fact.

You can find a comprehensive list of America's taxpayer financed roads being sold to the highest bidder via Public Private Partnerships (PPP). There are even seminars provided to teach state and local government officials how to go about selling our taxpayer financed infrstructures to foreign private investment groups. There will be a "North American Private Partnerships Intensive Seminar, . . . held at the Hyatt Regency in Miami, March 19 to 21 [2007]. The cost will be $3,500 [probably paid by taxpayer dollars] per attendee."

Our country is being sold out from beneath us, often to foreign entities who will control them in times of national emergencies and in violation of the Exon-Florio law and our Constitution. All is being accomplished while many Americans remain uninformed by the media AND those who loudly object are being ignored or silenced by the fascist One World Monopolists, in collusion with the corrupt main stream media, in their drive to conquer America from within.

America's Trucking Industry Will Be Jeopardized

"The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association came out this month in opposition to any Mexican truck pilot program. Todd Spencer, the association's executive vice president, said the program would jeopardize safety on U.S. roads and would lead to an influx of cheap Mexican labor . . . [said:] 'A move by the U.S. Department of Transportation to open U.S. roadways to Mexican trucks puts the interest of foreign trade and cheap labor ahead of everything else, including highway safety, homeland security and the well-being of hardworking Americans' . . ."(40)

The Gathering Storm Clouds Are Approaching . . .

"There is a plan no one talks about very much, one that floats over the horizon like an approaching storm at sea. In this business dream, the Pacific ports of the United States will be shifted south to new massive anchorages in Mexico . . . These new ports will be linked by major train and truck arteries -- NAFTA Corridors -- to the cities of the United States and Canada. Mexican trucking companies will be bought (and are being bought up now) by American firms and Mexican truckers will deliver the freight and freely drive all U.S. highways. In this plan, the shipping of the United States leaves [out] union ports and the long haul trucking leaves [out] union drivers."(41)

"An enlarged I-35 will reach north from the sister cities of Laredo/Nuevo Laredo 1,600 miles to Canada via San Antonio, Austin, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Kansas City, the Twin Cities and Duluth and I-69 will originate at the same crossing and streak north to Michigan. Each corridor will be about 1,200 feet wide. Six lanes will be dedicated to cars, four to trucks and in the middle will be rail and utilities. The goods will come from new Mexican ports on the Pacific coast. At the moment, at least five such corridors are on the drawing boards."(41)

In a story called 'The NAFTA Trucker' an investigative reporter by the name of Charles Bowden wrote a story for the November 1999 issue of The Teamster in which he exposed a story about Mexican long haul drivers who are woefully exploited, exhausted by the exorbitant hours they are forced to drive so they use cocaine and amphetamines, etc., all the while driving notoriously poorly maintained vehicles.

In the August 2006 Teamsters magazine, seven years later, he writes that "NOTHING HAS CHANGED" and Mexican truck drivers and their rigs are still grossly 'unsafe at any speed.'

Help Comes From the Courts to Smooth the Way for the NAU

Oh, by the way, did you know that on "June 7, 2004, the U.S. Supreme Court reached a unanimous decision in Department of Transportation v. Public Citizen, ruling that Mexican trucks under NAFTA could enter the U.S. freely, even if the Mexican trucks failed to meet environmental standards as set by state and federal law."(42)

How devastating can those emissions become? "An estimated 63,000 Mexican trucks crossed the border last year[2001], making, 4.3 million crossing, mostly through Texas."(43) Today in 2006 the number of crossings is much higher and the planned NASCO super highway will escalate the traffic exponentially.

Of the road infrastructure already sold in California: "Each major transportation mode already faces serious limitations in capacity, but huge growth is predicted for all kinds of cargo traffic, including the NAFTA trade. According to SCAG, [Southern California Assn. of Governments] two million trucks traveled northbound/southbound across the California/Baja California border in 2003. That was before the Supreme Court okayed Mexican trucks and buses for full U.S. access and before implementation of the recently-approved Central American Free Trade Agreement [CAFTA]."(44)

How rampant is the selling or leasing of roads and bridges?

A Chilling Message From the Office of the U.S. Attorney General

Didn't you ever wonder why our government is prosecuting border patrol agents for doing their job?

Did you know that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) rules state: "It is a violation of Border Patrol regulations to go after someone who is fleeing." . . . "The Border Patrol pursuit policy prohibits the pursuit of someone." To repeat: "Agents are not allowed to pursue. In order to exceed the speed limit, you have to get supervisor approval . . . "(47)

One of the two agents said: "How are we supposed to follow the Border Patrol strategy of apprehending terrorists or drug smugglers if we are not supposed to pursue fleeing people? . . . Everybody who's breaking the law flees from us. What are we supposed to do? Do they want us to catch them or not?"(47) Apparently not!

In order to prosecute two border patrol agents, one of whom was up for Border Patrol Agent of the Year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of Inspector General, investigator Christopher Sanchez sought out the Mexican national whose abandoned van contained 800 pounds of Marijuana and was shot in the buttocks as he fled to another waiting van on the Mexican side of the border. "The smuggler was given full immunity to testify against the agents and complete medical care at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, in El Paso [Texas]."(47)

The agents, Ramos and Compean, face 20 years in prison after being convicted of "assault with serious bodily injury; assault with a deadly weapon; discharge of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence; and civil rights violation . . . The smuggler is now suing the Border Patrol for $5 million for violating his civil rights."(47)

TJ Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, the union representing border agents said the Border Patrol's official pursuit policy handcuffs agents in the field . . . The administration is trying to intimidate front-line agents from doing their job . . . If they can't do it administratively, they'll do it with trumped-up criminal charges."(47)

Andy Ramirez of the nonprofit group "Friends of the Border Patrol' said: "This is the greatest miscarriage of justice I have ever seen . . . [the prosecution] has sent a very loud message to the other Border Patrol agents: If you confront a smuggler, this is what will happen to you."(48)

How Dishonest and Corrupt IS our Congress?

Did you know that, in 1999 and 2000, presidential candidate and then president-elect Vicente Fox had a foreign relations aide who met with "almost 80 U.S. congressmen and senators during numerous trips and at several events." The aide, Fredo Arias-king, attests that: "With just over 50 of them, my colleagues and I spoke about immigration in some depth, as it is one of the important bilateral topics [for Mexico]."(51)

They found that: "American politicians are overwhelmingly pro-immigration, for a variety of reasons, and they do not always admit this to their constituents. Of those 50 legislators, 45 were unambiguously pro-immigration, even asking us at times to 'send more.' This was true of both Democrats and Republicans."(51)

His conclusions: "If an organizable mass of Americans comes to suspect that mass immigration from Latin America is being used by the political class to undermine their democracy and as a tool to liberate the political elites from the Jeffersonian and Madisonian constraints, then indeed we may witness a reaction-but hopefully not against the immigrants themselves, as they are also objects of elite manipulations in more than one country."(51)

The illegal alien problem is simply the MECHANISM for leveraging what is yet to come. NAFTA Morphs Into the SPP and the NAU Plot Emerges

The tri-lateral cabal headed by President Fox, Prime Minister Martin, and President Bush have used NAFTA as a Trojan horse to create the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) which was officially announced on March 23, 2005, in Waco, Texas . The plan was little noticed when it was formally announced. Sadly it is . . . 'a day that will live in infamy!'

NAFTA, a supposed 'trade agreement' that has already cost millions of American jobs and closed many of our manufacturing plants has been deviously used to create the SPP. It was an ignominious day for America and all she stands for when the heads of state from three sovereign countries (Mexico, Canada and America) could simply mutually agree to deviously pervert the NAFTA agreement and create the SPP.(54)(55)(56)

Having made their official announcement, President Bush believed he was then entitled to order the executive branch of our government to do his bidding to create the NAU under cover of the SPP without any oversight by Congress or informing the American public. Ergo, by presidential fiat, Bush has created "an end run around America's sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece" or rather 'department by department' just as announced by CFR member Richard Gardner in his 1974 Foreign Affairs article.

The Early Warning 'Wake up' Call from Mexico:

"Their ideas are being implemented through the signing of 'regulations,' not subject to citizens' review. This vision may initially have been labeled NAFTA Plus, but the name gives a mistaken impression of what is at hand, since there will be no single treaty text, no unique label to facilitate keeping tabs. Perhaps for this reason, some civil society groups are calling the phenomenon by another name, the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPPNA), an official sobriquet for the summits held by the three chief executives to agree on the future of 'North America'. . . . Activist civil society organizations have to work overtime to keep up."(57)

Bush intends to end U.S. sovereignty in order to create the North American Union. The President is stealthily creating a unified continent wide economic and political entity similar to the European Union. He is following the blueprint laid out in a 2005 report entitled Building a North American Community: Report of an Independent Task Force, by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) which was preceded in 2001 by CFR member Dr. Robert Pastor's book titled: Toward a North American Community: Lessons from the Old World for the New and several iterations in between.

The Pastor book and many other similar earlier CFR reports reveals the nexus to Bush and explains the administration's DELIBERATE unenforcement of our immigration laws and DHS' insane policies such as 'catch and release' and others that were used to keep the borders open. Such actions or non-actions and inexplicable policies were purposefully employed to create a de facto elimination of our borders . . . a major prerequisite for the North American Union

Bush has created, engaged and promoted the North American Competitiveness Council. What is their mission and goal? "INCREASING PRIVATE SECTOR ENGAGEMENT in the SPP by adding high-level BUSINESS INPUT will ASSIST GOVERNMENTS in enhancing North America's competitive position and ENGAGE THE PRIVATE SECTOR AS PARTNERS IN FINDING SOLUTIONS. The Council will:

Consider issues that could be addressed trilaterally or bilaterally, as improvements in our bilateral relationships enhance North American competitiveness.
Address issues of immediate importance and provide strategic medium and long-term advice.
Provide input on the compatibility of our security and prosperity agendas, given the linkages between security and prosperity in a global marketplace.
Offer ideas on the private sector's role in promoting North American competitiveness."(59)

Wealthy corporate globalists, such as the Rockefellers, are working in concert with many in positions of power in our courts, military, and government who are members of the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, and attend the Bilderberg conferences. Their overarching desire is to create world political dominion controlled by corporate monopolies. Their goals are rooted in the ideologies of socialism, Communism, and Marxism. Collectively, they working diligently and secretly to create a FASCIST One World Order.

What the Elite Globlists Seek . . .

We've agreed to set up a North American Competitiveness Council, made up of business leaders from all three countries, to advise us on ways to improve the competitiveness of our economies. They will meet with our ministers, identify priorities, and make sure we follow up and implement them."(63)

President Fox chimed in with: "We have come to an end in this productive meeting, as you well know, with bilateral meetings yesterday, and today a trilateral meeting, a very productive one, followed by an enlarged meeting, trilateral-wise, with the attendance of the entrepreneurial community, business and investment of our three countries."(63)

Three globalist elites and their coterie of wealthy puppet masters, governmental conspirators and CFR accomplices have collectively . . . piece by piece, made bi-lateral and tri-lateral agreements that have essentially eliminated our sovereignty without our consent. What they are putting into place has NO congressional approval or oversight, let alone approval from 'We the People.'

They are doing it through the State Department which is headed by Rice (CFR) and filled with CFR members. Other governmental departments that are involved include Rumsfeld, former Secretary of Defense (Trilateral Commission and former CFR member). Chao (CFR) Secretary of Labor, Paulson, (CFR) the new Secretary of Treasury (former Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs), and the new CIA chief Hayden (CFR). Essentially ALL the departments of the federal government's executive branch are involved in the destruction of our Constitution, Bill of Rights, laws and sovereignty. The 'Shadow Government' is an EYELASH away from taking over!

Their Plan to Kill America by Stealth . . .

Arrogantly . . . without submission to Congress for discussion and debate, or providing any ongoing major media exposure, President Bush issued executive orders to create 'working groups,' in most, if not all of the Departments of the Executive Branch under the direction and management of the Department of Commerce.

Instead they posted on the spp.gov website: "Following the March 23, 2005, launch of the SPP, each nation established Security and Prosperity working groups to fulfill the vision of the North American Heads of State. The working groups will consult with stakeholders; set specific, measurable, and achievable goals and implementation dates; and identify concrete steps the governments can take to achieve these goals. An initial report is due to Heads of Government on June 23 with semi-annual progress reports thereafter."(64)

Just how will they do their 'end run around our sovereignty', eliminate the protection of our Constitution which George Bush calls "nothing but a goddamned piece of paper" and erode our Bill of Rights and freedoms? Exactly as CFR author Richard N. Gardner said they would . . . 'from the bottom up . . . piece by piece'.

Their methodology for accomplishing their goals include CFR 'task force' prescribed agendas and initiatives that will be actively pursued by 'working groups' inside the executive branch of our government. "Nearly every work plan is characterized by action steps described variously as 'our three countries signed a Framework of Common Principles' . . . or 'we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding . . . or 'we have signed a declaration of intent' . . . etc. Once again, none of the 30 or so working agendas makes any mention of submitting decisions to the U.S. Congress for review and approval. No new U.S. laws are contemplated for the Bush administration to submit to Congress. Instead, the plan is obviously to knit together the North American Union completely under the radar, through a process of regulations and directives issued by various U.S. government agencies."(65)

Energy Working Group . . . facilitating investment in energy infrastructure, . . . enhancing cooperation to identify and utilize best practices, streamline and update regulations.

Transportation Working Group . . . expanding market access, facilitating multimodal corridors, reducing congestion, and alleviating bottlenecks at the border that inhibit growth . . . initiate an Aviation Safety Agreement process, pursue smart border information technology initiatives, ensure compatibility of regulations and standards in areas such as statistics, motor carrier and rail safety, and working with responsible jurisdictions, develop mechanisms for enhanced road infrastructure planning, including an inventory of border transportation infrastructure in major corridors and public-private financing instruments for border projects).

Financial Services Working Group . . . further collaboration on training programs for bank, insurance and securities regulators and supervisors.

Business Facilitation Working Group . . . facilitate further the movement of business persons within North America

Movement of Goods Working Group . . . procedures to allow speedy implementation of rules of origin modifications. Increase competitiveness by exploring additional supply chain options, such as by rationalizing minor differences in external tariffs, consistent with multilateral negotiation strategies.

Health . . . cooperative efforts under the International Conference on Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use, work towards the identification and adoption of best practices relating to the registration of medicinal products.(64)

A phone call to the 'Office of Public Affairs' for the Dept. of Commerce found that the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) is being called a 'project.' That was the response to a query as to why the department's organizational list did not include a section called 'Security and Prosperity Partnership.' Now . . . why do you suppose they do not have it listed as a component of the Dept. of Commerce? Why the 'low key' innocuous identification of a major emphasis towards a North American Union called just a 'project'? Could it be more acts of stealth?(66)

An interesting fact is that Carlos Gutierrez, the Secretary of Commerce, was born in Havana, Cuba and educated in Mexico.(67)

BUSINESS OWNERS with vested economic interests are gleefully gaining direct access to the GOVERNMENT who is facilitating their interests. Under the aegis of the SPP, businesses are gaining entrée and accommodations directly from government departments in the executive branch without intercession and oversight by congress in order to protect 'We the People' from a government by plutocracy.

According to Patrick Kilbride, executive director of the Council of the Americas' North American Business Committee "in partnership with United Parcel Service (UPS), will provide [on January 10-11, 2006] North American business leaders and government officials an opportunity for dialogue on the development and implementation of the SPP . . . More than 40 private sector participants from companies including Ford Motor Company, Tyco, Exxon Mobil and Grupo IMSA are expected to join government officials from the U.S. departments of State and Commerce, Mexico's Secretariat of Foreign Relations and Canada's Ministry of Industry at the forum in Louisville, Kentucky . . ."(69)

Kilbride said: 'We see the SPP as a remarkable initiative by the North American governments and we want to ensure it gets the full support from the private sector that it deserves,' . . . We see this as an opportunity to bring key 'stakeholders' together in a collegial and collaborative environment to advance our mutual goals in trade and security . . . Kilbride . . . hopes the SPP forum will lay a foundation for future public-private sector collaboration."(69)

Dwindling American Auto Manufacturers Jump Onboard the SPP Band Wagon . . .

"As part of the SPP process, the North American automotive industry, represented by all major manufacturers and their suppliers from the United States, Canada and Mexico, recently established the Automotive Partnership Council of North America (APCNA), and identified an initial list of priority action items."(70)

"The automotive industry is the single largest manufacturing sector in North America and represents the largest component of trade between Canada, the United States and Mexico. The success and competitiveness of the North American automotive industry stems in large part from the regional integration of the industry."(70)

"The associations and companies involved in the APCNA are eager to work together as an industry in cooperation with our partners in government to strengthen the regional competitiveness and prosperity of our industry across North America."(70)

Translated . . . regional integration means that more American automobile factories will move to Mexico, and now that CAFTA is signed, to other Latin American countries for even cheaper labor and little or no environmental or labor laws to hinder them. The plutocracy marches on under the SPP-NAFTA flag.

Reuters reported that Ford Motor Co. is slashing 30,000 jobs and closing 14 plants in the United States and is preparing to invest up to $9.2 billion in Mexico from 2006 to 2012 and create up to 150,000 jobs as detailed in a confidential, 28-page document turned over to the Oakland Press in Detroit, by a Ford employee.

According to the document: "The Way Forward - Mexico (offers an) opportunity to further leverage Ford of Mexico cost advantage and location to reduce corporate fixed costs . . . Could It Be Just A Coincidence That . . .

The creation of the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) is EXACTLY what was planned by the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) as noted in their 47 page FINAL Report, dated May 2005. The report was published just three months after the WACO, Texas meeting between the three heads of state. How were they able to so quickly issue a FINAL report when the concept had just been officially announced? The answer is that there were many preceding 'blueprints' by the CFR detailing 'how to' create the NAU by using NAFTA 'on steroids' as the basis for the SPP. In particular, the CFR's Dr. Robert A. Pastor 'shopped' the concept around in books, monographs, speeches before the Trilateral Commission, and by providing 'expert' testimony before Canada's Parliament and the US Congress.(72)

For YEARS the CFR's had been calling for the erasure of our borders. Dr. Pastor, a CFR task force Vice-Chair, has been trumpeting the concept, just about everywhere it mattered, working hard to achieve the CFR's stated goals. All the while 'We the People' were 'left out of the loop' until Lou Dobbs exposed the CFR's plans. Watch this video of Pastor's testimony before Congress where he announced that our borders are to be eliminated by 2010 and see Lou Dobbs' reaction.(73)

The CFR and hundreds its of members have infiltrated our government at all levels . . . the legislative, the executive, the courts, and the military. They are the driving force and facilitators behind the CFR's publicly stated position that says the following: "An annual summit of North American leaders would do more to carry out our [CFR's] overall goal of creating a North American Community than virtually any of the report's other recommendations. As we have seen with the annual Group of Seven/Eight (G-7/8) and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summits, regular meetings of leaders not only help promote a sense of community and shared objectives, but channel the various bureaucracies each year to work on those common objectives."(72)

"Whether on matters of security, education, or economic integration and development, annual summits will drive a process that will hasten the goals that we outline in our report. More to the point, an annual summit can be announced and implemented right away, giving tangible impetus to the good beginning made at the March 2005 summit and to the goals we promote here."(72) Get the picture?

The CFR had reason to rejoice because: "At their meeting in Waco, Texas, at the end of March 2005, U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin committed their governments to a path of cooperation and joint action. We welcome this important development and offer this report to add urgency and specific recommendations to strengthen their efforts."(72)

Although there are those who would deny there is ANY connection between the CFR and the North American Union, they are simply in severe denial, dupes or part of the cabal and working to cover up the truth.

The CFR's Dr. Robert Pastor Envisions the Future of the NAU . . .

You will need to re-read the following several times to grasp the enormity of what Pastor and the CFR has proposed for America. It will TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY!

"Pastor told the Trilateral Commission in 2002 that the North American Union needed to implement a series of political proposals which would have authority over the sovereignty of the United States, Canada and Mexico. Specifically, Pastor called for the creation of North American passports and a North American Customs and Immigrations, which would have authority over U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) within the Department of Homeland Security. A North American Parliamentary Group would oversee the U.S. Congress. A Permanent Court on Trade and Investment would resolve disputes within NAFTA, exerting final authority over the judgments of the U.S. Supreme Court. A North American Commission would 'develop an integrated continental plan for transportation and infrastructure'."(74)

Watch this sickening video where a pair of the Trilateral Commission's most famous stalwarts, Dick Cheney and David Rockefeller, pat each other's back. The diabolical duo are at a meeting where they are planning and promoting the final 'nail in America's coffin' called the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA). (75)

Discover What Covert Operations Are Being Conducted Under the SPP . . .

Go to SPP.gov and see for yourself. Be sure to put on your propaganda filter before entering the website. Pay attention to how cleverly they clothe their treasonous acts with self-effacing, feel good words like 'prosperity.' Be sure and ask yourself . . . 'prosperity' for WHOM, those Americans whose jobs and manufacturing has already disappeared? Be sure and ask yourself . . . 'security' for WHOM once they erase our borders and eliminate our sovereignty? Be sure and ask yourself . . . 'partnership' with WHOM and by WHOM? Thus far it is a partnership between Fox, Harper and Bush in collusion with businesses and the banking community. NOT with the American people and/or their duly elected legislative representatives.

Americans need to become suspicious about what's going on right under their own noses and in their own back yard. You need to get out from behind the television and WORK to ferret out for yourself what is happening because the silence from the main stream media is part of the treason

Beware of the 'North American Competitiveness Council' (NACC) it is FASCISM PERSONIFIED!

The NACC will create ever increasing CORPORATE 'private sector' engagement under cover of the SPP by providing high-level business interests with MAJOR access and input into the running of our government and country. The singular purpose of the NACC is to enhance North America's competitive position by engaging those in the private corporate sector as 'partners' in finding solutions. There wil be no 'seat at the table for 'We the People!'(76)

Meeting on June 15, 2006 . . . the "U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez, Mexican Economy Minister Sergio Garcia de Alba and Canadian Minister of Industry Maxime Bernier . . . met with North American business leaders to officially launch the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC). In March of 2006 Bush, Harper, and Fox, announced the creation of the NACC as a priority to their commitment to the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). "The SPP is built on the North American Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Canada and Mexico (NAFTA) which entered into force on January 1, 1994."(77)

At the meeting Commerce Secretary Carlos Gutierrez stated that: "Today is a continuation of President Bush's strong commitment to our North American partners to focus on North America's security and prosperity . . . "The private sector is the driving force behind innovation and growth, and the private sector's involvement in the SPP is key to enhancing North America's competitive position in global markets."(77)

"The NACC is made up of high level business leaders from each country. Each country's council consists of ten members who will meet annually with the SPP Prosperity and Security Ministers to provide recommendations and priorities on promoting North American competitiveness globally. In addition, the governments of North America will work with the NACC to remove barriers in order to increase the competitiveness of North American firms in the global marketplace and spur economic growth."(77)

At that same June meeting . . . "the SPP Prosperity Ministers, Secretary Gutierrez, Secretary Garcia de Alba and Minister Bernier, met to take stock of progress on the Prosperity component of the SPP. The SPP Security Ministers, Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, Canadian Minister of Public Safety Stockwell Day and Mexican Secretary of Interior Carlos Abascal, are also taking stock of progress on the Security component with a view to releasing a report in July. The Security and Prosperity Ministers will hold a meeting with the NACC in early fall 2006 to discuss their priorities. They will also discuss updates to the work plans and consider new initiatives."(77)

As you review the documents from their official websites such as the Whitehouse.gov, SPP.gov, State.gov, or Canada.USembassy. gov you will notice that they NEVER mention WHO the 'high level business leaders' are or what industry, commerce or banks they represent. So in reality the information that they offer is just so much propaganda for the 'mushrooms' (i.e., 'We the People') whom they have deliberately keep in the dark and fed you know what.

You will NEVER see any reporting in the media because it is tightly controlled by a very few who are treasonously working in concert with the CFR and its agents and sympathizers of the 'Shadow Government.' Propaganda is a topic that will be discussed at length in this author's coming paper tentatively titled: Tyranny Reigns ~ Deceit and Betrayal by the Executive Branch.

What You Can Do To Fight Back . . .

The solution . . . get involved locally and take back our government the same way they took it from us . . . little by little from the ground up. There is not a person among us who doesn't know about a local issue that is totally schizophrenic and contrary to all that we believe reflects our ideals and beliefs about America. Run for local office, get on school boards, zoning boards, planning boards, sign up for dog catcher if you have to in order to become an insider and part of the 'power structure' that is running our country in ways we consider detrimental. At least you will know what is going on and can inform others and rally against those who are out of control.

Get yourself a computer and learn how to 'surf' the internet. It is easy to learn and do. If my 80-year-old neighbor can do it . . . you can too. Do it because it is the last bastion of uncontrolled information left to you and it won't last too much longer because they are working and creating legislation to control the internet. One such law is called 'net neutrality!' Sounds innocent, doesn't it? It's just their way of conning you with their propaganda.

A computer is literally a 'window on the world' and best of all is that it is not totally and completely controlled by the media mafia that has a complete stranglehold on EVERYTHING you see, hear and read. It is an issue that will be discussed in detail later in the next paper tentatively titled: Tyranny Reigns ~ Stealth and Treason by the Executive Branch.

Get educated! Read these articles on 'Net Neutrality': House Turns Deaf Ear to Net Neutrality; The World's Worst Internet Laws Snaking Through the Senate; Follow the Net Neutrality Money Trail; and follow that with the truncated version of Why we should think twice about 'net neutrality' in support of net neutrality by Douglas Holtz-Eaken posted on the CFR website. Holtz-Eaken is the holder of the Paul A. Volker Chair in International Economics and Director of the Maurice R. Greenberg Center for Geoeconomic Studies. Even when one DOES inquire into what's going on, we find Geri Word, head of the SPP office, who says their work has not been disclosed because: "We did not want to get the contact people of the working groups distracted by calls from the public."(82) Uh . . . that's US! . . . 'We the People' not to mention the U.S. Congress. What arrogance! Be advised that you will find such arrogance to be a 'trademark' of the traitorous cabal.

Ms. Word also suggested "that the work products of the working groups was described on the SPP website, so publishing the actual documents did not seem required."(82)

On the whitehouse.gov website you will find two reports: "The SPP of North America: Progress" and "Next Steps".(83)(59)

See if you think Tony Snow the 'Whitehouse Spokesperson' lied through his teeth when he was asked Will the president categorically deny any interest in building a European Union-type superstate in North America?" He answered: Of course, no. We're not interested. There is not going to be an EU in the US."(84)

And . . . Get Ready for the AMERO!

In his 2001 book, Dr. Robert A. Pastor, the 'Pied Piper' of the North American Union, called for a currency that will replace the Canadian and American dollars and the Mexican Peso. It is a concept that was discussed as early as 1999 by the Fraser Institute in Canada in a paper titled: The Case for the Amero: The Economics and Politics of a North American Monetary Union; and then again in 2002 in the Canadian House of Commons reporting to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade a report titled: Partners in North America Advancing Canada's Relations with the United States and Mexico; followed in 2004 at the University of California by a paper that addressed the North American Monetary Union: A United States Perspective.(85)(86)(87)

I was watching a show about Billy Graham this evening, in which it chronicled his life, but it also centered around his proximity to presidential power since Truman. How does a human being, equipped with all his frailties, emerge from the sophisticated, jeopardous, and maligning world of politics unscathed from all its abuses thereunto? Who saved, rescued, and delivered the human savior of our time? What an amazing individual he is, having had the opportunity to preach to millions around the world about God. I want to share a Message by Billy Graham that I read this evening on his web site about death. You can read it in its entirety by using this link. I just wasnt aware of anything other than my social, college, and work life, as did most young men and women my age when I was coming along. I was on the prowl for ways to enrich my Life with "moments that took my breath away." I found them in every category and in every phase I chanced upon. My choice to pursue a career in travel nursing, accelerated the frequency of spectacular encounters with people and places and things. Those "moments" were the catalyst for finally wanting a "breathtaking moment" with another. And, in walks Rafael Jordan one day... persistent, passionate, and inescapable. I instantly fell in love at age 34, and we were married within 42 days at the most private and intimate of ceremonies in Las Vegas on July 22, 2003 at around 1am on the strip, at The Little White Wedding Chapel. I've heard people say, "Love is pure joy," and it is, no doubt. This was a magical time for me, and it almost seemed like a scene out of a romance novel. The year 2003, for me, will forever be engrained in my mind as a close to perfect year and the best year of my life. Little did I know what bumpy road I was to be heading down with my husband. His cousin moved in with us 6 months later (sigh). Nice kid, but his brooding nature, low self-esteem, and negativity changed the fabric of our marital relationship. Its obvious to me now, that we never recovered from the intrusion. I never understood why his cousin's father didnt change the plans he had for his son knowing the change in Rafael's life. Selfishness? Stupidity? Just didnt care? But then again, Rafael never stood up for his own marriage and wife - another red flag I missed. He allowed it and supported it saying that it was a family promise he had made. I'm still shaking my head... Rafael also couldnt control himself around money, and our bills began to pile up. He made it virtually impossible for us to have a normal life. Our marriage was all about what Rafael wanted and when he wanted it. There was no denial of self for him, and I found it increasingly hard to believe that he was raised in Catholic school. At some point, the teachings of Christ rub off on you when you're in that type of environment. I think his heart captured it, but his mind didnt. He also was a substance abuser, and over the course of our marriage... I became one too, numbing myself from the reality of my own husband's actions. I can honestly say that I tried to uphold my wedding vows (we said them twice) till death do us part. Sacred promises to God dont mean anything to Rafael, and he bailed when things got rough for us due to the fruits of his labor and behavior. I also was not aware that he had already set his sights on a new female (she is referred to as "homewrecker slut" by members of their community and co-workers of his) who lives approx 10 houses down from our house we shared. That was the reason he kept telling me to "get out" for an entire month, alongside his major depressive/bipolar episode that had surfaced on April 15, 2006 when he told me he wanted a divorce. I spent a month getting him to a medical doctor, therapist, and finally to a psychiatrist - where he finally was diagnosed and put on medication. His depression, anxiety and agitation levels were out-of-control, and I started locking the guest bedroom door at night. I had moved myself there right away to give him some space. My personal safety was becoming more and more of a concern, and so the day before I started my new job at Emory Univ Hospital, I packed the essentials, and moved to Mom's temporarily. My first fall was May 15th, the very next day, walking down the long hospital hall on my way to orientation. I was already going through my heart being torn into a million pieces by someone whom I thought shared the same values I did when it comes to marriage and relationships, but what I didnt know was that I was about to embark on such a terrifying and physical/mental/emotional downward spiral that I had never experienced in all of my 37 years. 1 month after I began working for EUH, I was hospitalized and diagnosed with CIDP. Last summer, I got so sick with this neurological, autoimmune disease that I had to crawl on the floor like an animal to get around. I had lost so much muscle strength. It was almost impossible for me to stand up from a chair or the toilet seat, and my arms got stronger and stronger lifting my body up and down whenever I needed to be mobile. I've come a long way since last year, and I guess I am grateful for that. I am still disabled, and do not feel good 95% of the time. Quality of Life is poor, in my eyes. I am useless and without purpose. Why would God take a healer away from her duties? Why would God let a loving marriage be destroyed? Why would God allow my body to be ravaged once again? Why would God not help Rafael free himself of his past and mental ailments, so that he might be capabale of loving himself and therefore anoher? Why would his mother cut off communication with me when she knows I am the only person in his Life that figured out what was wrong with him and got him help, despite being verbally and emotionally abused by him? (She ought to hang her head in shame. Thats an awful display of her faith.) This world will never make sense to me. The only thing that does make sense is that it is, in fact, hell. Either that, or its a cruel, sadistic joke being played on billions of people. I am under the hard and fast impression that my Life sucks, and its always going to suck. As my doctor has said in the past, "Get over it, Amy." Wow, ok. Let me snap my fingers, and your wish is my command. I was once a savior.... a savior to my cardiac patients. Who's goin to save the savior now? I want my Life and body back. If thats not possible, I need for God to show that he does love me, and make it happen that I depart from this chaos and cage as soon as possible. I'm done with this place.

This is the funniest video I have ever seen in my entire life! A Canadian friend shared this with me a few years ago, but it bears receiving repeated attention. Taylor was a 16 yr old young man from Australia who committed suicide. His mother built a web site as a tribute to his life and memory. Make sure you read all of the posts along the righthand side of the web site, and be sure to have plenty of tissues handy. His mother's frantic 911 call is also there. Click here to read his story... I've also completed a new piece of art - something a little different for me. Its a puffin from a photograph I found in a magazine. These are such cute birds, chock full of personality. I added glass beads to the stone on which he's perched, which really gives it a lot of texture, and I love the way the shadows turned out. Very cool, if I do say so myself. I'm really, really loving this piece! Me thinks I might be doing more birdies, sooner rather than later. A fellow Zazzler has given me permission to paint a red-breasted Grosbeak from one of her gallery photos (which was a stunning shot!). I just may draw that today.

I finally was able to sleep about 14 hours last night, and resting up on 2 pillows did the trick. I was just as weak, but thats ok. I slept. The rest of the day was spent wasting time... my heart continued to jump around in my chest all day... so I didnt feel like doing much of anything besides showering. (which totally wiped me out.) Today was awful. I only slept an hour or 2 last night because every time I laid down, my heart would start jumping around in my chest, and it felt like someone was sitting on top of it. I began the day with a sleep deficit. It wasnt so bad until I went for a nap, and thats when the same problem with my chest started all over again. Its a very scary feeling... I did get SOME relief when I doubled up my pillows, but not by much. Last Thursday evening, I did what I've been telling my cardiac patients to do for the last 16 years... "if you start having symptoms, its better to go get checked out. you'd rather be safe than sorry." So, I went to the ER. Despite a rainbow of symptoms, the ER MD couldnt find anything wrong except for a 1st-degree AV block. I went home, vowing never to go back ever again, and I'm keeping to my word. I've REALLY got to get my will done now... I'd like to get a large packet of papers together to make it easy for Mom once I kick off. I've watched her struggle through with Grandma's stuff because it wasnt organized. She doesnt need that headache from me. I'm going to order a filing cabinet tomorrow, too. There is one upstairs, empty and ready to use, but there isnt anyone to bring it down the stairs for us. Its just easier to have one delivered than to put someone out by asking them to come over and move it.

I cant sleep tonight, so I'm trying to be productive. I just listed my 3 newest & latest art magnets for sale on ebay. They look smashing, if I do say so myself, and they all have their own special purpose and personality. Thats what I like about all of my art magnets. :) --- Mom made one of my dreams come true this evening, and its being shipped mid-August! Of course, I have to pay her back, but its needed now. I'll spill the surprise once it arrives. I can hardly wait!! WooHoooo!! --- On a less than lighter note, I'm getting weaker and weaker again. My left leg is swollen and painful. I dont have the energy to call the doctor. My insurance company reversed their denial decision based on the 150 pages of "college thesis" I sent them, but they only reversed it on appeal. That means... they are STILL trying to get out of paying the $116,000 from 2006 and 2007 in unpaid claims. I called the investigator I had assigned to my case from the Insurance Commissioner's office, and he had me FAX a copy of their letter. He requested information from their Legal Support Team, and is still waiting to hear back from them (should take 1-2 weeks.) It sounds like the ins. co. is going downnnnnnnn. They wont win this fight. They dont know who they're messing with. When I find some energy tomorrow, I'll start doing research on RICO laws, and then find an attorney who will take the case. I can sure use a new car, house, and a few vacations. If the stress doesnt kill me before I prevail, that is...

Finally, its done - the 1950's Fairy! I've been working on this one off and on, and I put if off due to all the work I put in on the Fractured Fairy (still unfinished). Just so glad its completed, and I'm free to move onto other projects! --- I recently discovered a musical playlist in which I placed on my Zazzle About Me page. I'm probably the only one who listens to it, and I keep a window open while I'm working on the computer. SO glad to finally have music again! My unfortunate sister borrowed two boom boxes and a stereo from me in the past, and has never replaced them... or even offered to. In her world, its "all about me." Oh well, that complete chaos is not something I choose to deal with again. She's caused enough damage to the entire family already. Why would I allow that back into my life? No thanks.

Jodi and I both arrived home, respectively, from the hospital today. I think she was a little more worse for the wear than I was though. I'm SO glad she's home, and doing well. I know the kiddies are very happy to see her, although they had a fab time with Grandma Jean. :) There seems to be a new dimension added to the game of Battleship. "Is it logic, a guess, or mental telepathy?" Never again will it be the same at the Nicholson household...lol I just wish that I had been well enough to be there with them the whole time. As it turned out, that wasnt to be the case, but I'm kinda glad in a way. Mom was able to get to know her grandchildren without any interference on my part. Things always have a way of working out the way they're supposed to. ... I had some very nice nurses this time around. One of them took some time to ask a lot of questions and try and understand whats been going on with me, and that I will be forever grateful. I did some long and hard thinking while I was there, and came to a few decisions that I have been mulling over for the last year. My life is what it is, and there is no way out of this mess. The party is over. Next week, I will begin the process of gathering important papers together, so everything will be in order for when the inevitable happens. I dont plan on continuing this torture any longer than I have to. No dialysis. No new kidney. No more dealing with dysfunctional people and situations. No more being duped by people who pretend to love me. I've been on borrowed time for longer than I should have. People waste such precious time.... Time to go home.

I talked to both John and Jodi today. Jodi is knocking out her to-do list for her surgery. Hair beautification was today, and I think toes and nails are tomorrow. I dont think her surgery is until late afternoon on Tuesday, so at least they dont have to roll out of bed and be down there by 0-dark-30. Thats a plus! I hope they give her happy drugs, so her stomach wont remember she hasnt eaten all day...lol The conversation turned to the latest insanity going on in our family. She said its nothing new, and that it wasnt a stressor anymore - just frustrating that if only he had communicated in a fatherly fashion all along... we wouldnt be having these problems today. I agree 100% with her. It seems the 3 of us are on the same page about everything. I cant, for the life of me, figure out why the "others" cant seem to think straight and without prejudice on this. Mom has been so cool about it all, especially when I explained my he said/she said story that happened to me when I first separated from Rafael (that concept is still going on, but its only because my ex-husband is a pathological liar). I told her we dont care what he has to say, especially since this is the only time he has chosen to communicate about anything from the past. Now all of a sudden, his manhood/fatherhood has been questioned (once again), and he wants to blame the fact that he was absent from our lives on my mother??? Thats priceless. Anyone want popcorn?? Because he never dealt and learned from his own past, he is in the process of repeating it. (We were never allowed to meet and get to know HIS father.) I also realize he's acting just like a liberal. He cant debate (talk about) the issues on its merits, so he has to resort to name-calling and pointing the finger away from the true issues. Again, priceless. He's never been able to admit that he was or has been wrong about anything in his life, and he certainly isnt going to start now. I would like to know one thing....well, maybe a few. Why did he leave and not say a word to his own children when he walked out? What was he doing for the next 2 years when we received sporadic cards from him, but other than that - zero contact? Dating other women? Where was he living the whole time? Why didnt he help Mom around the house and with the kids? Why didnt he change a single diaper? Where was he when I needed college and career choice advise? Boyfriend advise? learned to drive a car? etc etc etc. I guess the list could go on forever. He made the comment that his father never showed up at his games or graduations, and he turned out ok. Really? You think so? I disagree, and besides... just because your father did that, doesnt make it acceptable or appropriate behavior for any father to act like that towards a child. In my book, its called neglect. I'm amazed we turned out as well as we did. Kathie is successfull with her own family. Lisa was successful in the art of partying and sucking the life force out of people and then hunting for her next victim. I was successful administering to the sick, despite overwhelming obstacles and odds. And, John was graced with a beautiful wife, 4 kiddies, and a loving set of inlaws who helped groom him to where he is today in business. Mom has a lot to be proud of. We're not perfect, by any means, but she did the best she could with being left holding the bag to carry all by herself. Still, there are so many unanswered questions that have been locked away inside all 4 of the siblings, and have never been discussed. He wonders why we all have so much anger... John and I are done. Done with a capital D. We both realize he's never going to change, or come to his senses. Toxic people are just that - toxic, whether they are family or not. So, unless dad & lisa have an epiphany one day about reality... there's really nothing to talk about anymore. John also made an excellent point. Maureen said they're moving to Canton. John said, "Gosh, thats another hour & 45 minutes away from us." He knows if they were truly interested in being an involved part of the family, they would move closer not further away. For him, that was another nail in the coffin of this dysfunctional and dead family. I told him today that we (Mom, Amy, & John) just needed to start today on building a strong family support system for ourselves, and quit the notion of thinking the others would start acting normal and be truly interested in getting involved on a regular basis. I think he agreed!! You know, John...lol Anyway... thats that. --- I'm getting weaker and weaker by the day. I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow, and ask if he'll go ahead and put me in the hospital. Just how bad do I have to get, and how much do I have to suffer before I get more medicine? The medical director of my insurance company is a crook. I dont know how he sleeps at night.... How many more people are waiting for treatment, just like me, because of their desire for higher profits? Its all so insane. This afternoon, I emailed Bill O'Reilly that I had something for him to use on his show. I hope he contacts me!!

I finally finished my Level 2 Appeal for my insurance company. I mailed 3 of them off this past Saturday. John W. Oxendine's copy went off on Monday. 2 more copies will be hand delivered on Thursday. What a relief that its done! They have 30 days from July 9th to make their decision. If you ask me, after getting together a total of 150 pages... it was an awesome "college thesis," and I have a good feeling that they will do the right thing and overturn my denial determination. I gave them scores of hospital notes, MD notes, clinical policy bulletins, 2 letters from physicians, and a 7 page personal letter explaining the complexity of my situation. Its going to take someone with a vast amount of knowledge in the specialties of neurology and nephrology to understand it. A generic clinical reviewer or a generic family practice physician is unqualified and unacceptable. Not only do I want my case approved... I want them to change their outdated policy on paying for this drug with CIDP. I hope to God no one else has to go through what I've been through with them. Its clear abuse, because of greed, from a company to their members. Bill O'Reilly just took on Michael Moore and his insane advocation for socialized medicine tonight on The Factor. Bill was also talking about the need to end the abuses faced by people with health insurance by their plans. I think I'll mail him a copy of this appeal, because it does a great job of outlining the difficulties so many of us face. Glad I made an extra copy... :) ... I was asked by my brother today to write a letter (or call) on his behalf over a conversation he had with my stepmom about some past family events. I obliged. I received an email reply back, and now... because we (John and I) have concerns over past and present family issues.... we are now labeled "people with dysfunctional DNA" by our father. The defintion of a bigot is: a prejudiced person who is intolerant of another's views. I think that applies in this case. Because I voiced opposition to their support of my sister, who has wreaked havoc in our lives for years, and because I am finally speaking up about actions, words, and events surrounding my parent's divorce and beyond... I am now an awful, evil person. I wonder if either one of them ever stops to think about the big picture - doubt it. I'm really tired of hinting around for "issues" to be discussed within our family, and not one person has any desire to join in all the fun. We, as a family unit, are a lost cause. I hate to be a "Harry Reid-er" on this, but after 25+ years of this mess continuing on and on and on... I cant do it anymore. According to my father, everyone is to blame, but himself. I'm not buying into that load of bull. John said that dad wants to be a mediator in a family discussion concerning a deal between Lisa and Mom. Ain't gonna happen. Raise your hand if you think an ex-husband would or could be fair and impartial when it comes to ANY topic where his ex-wife is concerned. Not! So, the beat goes on.... but not for long though, at least where I'm concerned. I've got other plans for my life.

--- The doctor found another skin cancer, and I have more surgery on Friday to have it removed. This will be the 3rd one in 3 weeks. :( --- I'm probably going back in the hospital again on Friday or Monday for more medicine. Last weekend, I almost went in emergently because I was really going downhill fast. I was VERY weak and shaky. This evening I almost went in emergently because of severe abdominal pains, but I held off going due to Pepto. It made it bearable. My stomach is quivering right now, and I cant sleep because of it. I am just a physical mess these days. Lea said it best. "You cant seem to catch a break these days!" --- Jodi's surgery day is Tuesday, and I have been praying for her in advance that all goes well. I think John is having a tough time with it, and i believe he's using a few distractions to get through it all. Dont know for sure, but thats my guess. At any rate, she is doing the best thing for herself, husband, and children, and I couldnt admire her more then I do right now. She's very brave! I hope the kids sail through this experience. I know Mom has PLENTY of experience of saying positive things when it comes to health matters, and I know she's an expert at talking to children. Those 2 abilities combined should help her help the kids should they ask questions when Jodi is in the hospital for 4 days. I hope I am well enough to help out. That all remains to be seen.

Wow... its been a long time since I've blogged! I didnt realize that much time had elapsed, as I have been swamped with a few things going on in my Life. Today, I had surgery for an extensive skin cancer across my upper lip. I was there about 5 hours, and very anxious about it, as its in a place I cant hide it from the world - my FACE. She had to take 2 layers of skin to get it all. It was a squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Knowlton referred me to her because she specializes in transplant dermatology. She was wonderful, AND she's Irish!! I dont know how many stitches she put in, but my lip is all swollen and still a little numb, and I've got a big bandage right under my nose. VERY attractive. I will be laying low until July 5th - when these bad boys get removed. Dr. Zwald called in Dr Papadapolous to consult on the cosmetics end of it - he seems to be the one with the most experience. He's also the Medical Director of the practice. Nobody wanted me looking like a troll once it healed from the surgery! Least of all - me! lol I have my 2nd surgery on Friday for a basal cell carcinoma on my right chest. That one will be much quicker and not as a big deal than the one today. #2: My insurance company has denied $116,000 in claims for the only drug thats kept me from being bed-ridden - IVIG. If I dont get it every 4 weeks, I start going downhill fast. I refuse to start crawling on the floor again because of this autoimmune disease - CIDP. So, I am in the middle of the 2nd level of appeals process. I sent them an appeals request letter, which was to be written within 60 days. The letter clearly stated that I needed copies of all the information they used to make the denial determination BEFORE I completed my 2nd level appeal letter. I have 180 days to write and send that letter in. Well, right before surgery this morning, I get a call from the Appeals Unit. She was confused. She wanted to make sure that this was not my 2nd level appeal letter. Apparently, she cant read. The letter was very clear and concise. Even someone with a retard IQ wouldve understood what I had written and was requesting from them. She was trying her best to "get the clock started" based on the letter I wrote, and without me having ANY new input for them to read. NOT! Insurance companies will try anything to get out of paying for what they're supposed to. It should be criminal for them to harrass paying customers like this, especially when something like IVIG is so desparately needed. I've been doing a lot of research on the issue of "medical necessity," and there are horror stories all over the internet about how insurance companies are outright abusing people and taking advantage of them when they are ill. Like I said, it should be criminal. One good thing... lawyers are slowly chipping away at federal laws that have acted like a security blanket for these companies (ERISA), and they also have found a way to make them pay even more than just claims monies and legal fees (RICO). For a nerd like me, it was very interesting to see the progression of court case outcomes over the years, as well as pending litigation thats going on across the country with these criminal companies. One very sad thing I did read... a lot of people have died waiting for their insurance company to pay for something like chemotherapy. I call that murder in the 1st degree. #3: I havent been feeling well. Some days are better than others. I'm usually nauseated every day, and I've been losing weight because I havent been eating. I had to go in the hospital a few weeks ago because my CIDP symptoms were starting to get really bad. The IVIG they gave me while I was there is finally kicking in, and my walking is much better. The involuntary eye movements I was having have almost stopped, as well as a few other symptoms... for now. That drug is AMAZING! Right now, I'm all shaky because I havent been able to eat much of anything today. Whatever I did put in my body, was through a straw. Mom bought me a Jamocha shake (Grandma's favorite!!) from Arby's on the way home. And then at dinner, I had a few bites of ice cream. That was all I could stomach. I just wish I could feel good for about a month - get good sleep every night - no nausea - no aches & pains - just a little freedom from the constant "I dont feel good" crap. God, are you listening? #4: I still need to finish the "Fractured Fairy" request from Kathy at Zazzle. Its almost done, but I was having trouble feeling the paint brush because my fingertips (and hands) have been numb due to the CIDP. Its getting better (due to the IVIG I just got), and so I'm hoping to complete it over the weekend. #5: I have encountered a big, big problem in the area of "free speech" and several liberals being loonie-toonie. BIG-TIME loonie-toonie. After having studied the illegal alien issue extensively, I created some "no amnesty" political products on Zazzle directed towards the proposed bill in the Senate. The one where 64% of the American people dont agree with it passing. BOY, did a debate ensue! About 3 liberals just had a complete fit over my views. One guy, I have to give him credit... he did actually agree with me on every factual point I made, but since he is from Mexico... his heart lies with the people crossing the border illegally. Illegal is illegal. That means, its illegal. What part of illegal do they not understand? I dont mind if they come here, I just want them to do it legally... through the front door, as opposed to the back one. My proposal was not amnesty, and it wasnt mass deportation. My solution was attrition through enforcement of our current immigration laws. What good are laws, if they arent enforced? (I wish we could help everybody who's got a bad lot in life, but we cant even take care of our OWN impoverished citizens, much less the ones from other countries.) Well, these 3 Zazzle liberals went off the deep-end on that. There is one dude who is slightly more mentally ill then the other 2. Whenever he talks (types)... he just rambles on and on and on, and never makes any sense. Its very hard to figure out what he's saying. I dont even know if HE knows what he's saying. He's probably smoking illegal substances on a daily basis. (lol) Anyway, all 3 of them have their little panties in a wad. Its quite comical to watch their counter efforts with products. I product was a personal attack towards me, but since Zazzle is based in San Francisco - liberal capitol of the world - they havent removed the product - even though its in violation of their own User Agreement. These 3 people cant even debate the issue on its merits, so they have to resort to name-calling. Poor things. I hope their blood pressure remains at a safe level. (lol) Anyway, thats that. One day, I hope to be surrounded by people who "think." Its very frustrating to deal with people who have no reasoning capability whatsoever. #6: There has been yet another uproar in the family. Dad & Maureen thought it was a good idea to invite everyone over for Father's Day, including Lisa, despite them knowing everyone's feelings about her and what she did to Mom. I think it was very disrespectful for them to consider us coming with her there. Lisa made the long-planned and calculated decision to choose property over family years ago, and now she thinks we will all forget and she can slip right back into our lives. They really put everyone in a bad spot just by asking us to show up. I'm very disappointed in my father and stepmom. I'm sure they spent the day with Brian and Katy.... another low blow.

Today is the first day since March 21st that I've finally felt human! I was able to get SO much accomplished today, as a result. I havent felt good in so long that I didnt know what to do with myself...lol What a great day! ~~ The only thing left "brewing" with my body is my left arm. I had my blood drawn last Thursday. A few hours later, my left arm has been swollen ,light blue in some areas, tight, and painful ever since. I called the doctor and told him about it, but all he said was that it was impossible for me to have a blood clot now that I'm therapeutic on Coumadin. I know the science behind it makes sense (what the MD said), but I think he's wrong. My arm looks and feels just like the other 2 blood clots I've had. Doctors have been wrong before... so I'm thinking I should call my main MD dude and run it by him. ANYWAY, Mom and I are going shopping for my 13th year Kidney Transplant Anniversary tomorrow! Macy's is having a huge sale, and she's buying me an outfit. This is going to be a treat! ~~ Now... if I could just get caught up with my emails.... my world would just great! lol OH! Good news from eBay today. I sold my beloved Nurse Fairy folk art painting this morning from my store!!!! A mother in WV bought it for her blonde, blue-eyed daughter who is a NICU RN for this year's Nurse's Week. Today marks the 7th day in a row I've had severe abdominal pain, nausea, etc... I hurt so bad this evening that I almost went to the ER. I thought it was going to get better, but it hasnt. I took some Pepto which helped ease the symptoms, but I can still feel it quivering. Very strange. It seems like every time I eat my stomach goes nutso. I wonder if you can have a stomach bug without having fever...? Anyway, I havent felt like doing much of anything, and I've put everything on hold until all this settles down. I did manage to upload a new artwork, thats been finished for weeks now, to Zazzle... and now to my blog. The companion piece has also been finished for a while, and I'll post that one on another day here.

I think I've hit my limit. The last 4 days have been hell, as I received IVIG again right before the weekend. Severe headaches, body aches, abdominal pain, nausea, extreme fatigue etc... I'm anxious to see what my kidney numbers look like. I've decided not to go back on dialysis when the time comes around. I cant and wont live like this a day longer than I have to. This world doesnt make sense to me. I shouldve been one of the ones killed at Virginia Tech. Those kids had bright futures and a life to look forward to. Why dont deranged lunatics ever go into places where the terminally ill are suffering needlessly and kill them? People, here & there, always offer the point that its not our place to question God. I think thats bullshit. He created us to question everything, but not Him and His sadistic decisions for our lives? He could stop all of the suffering in a heartbeat. I'm not quite sure why He lets it continue....

Just a quick blog addition... I finished it - finally! I've been so busy for the last several weeks that I thought I'd never have time to paint again. This won a Today's Best award on Zazzle. ... Had my taxes done today by H&R Block, and I'll be getting money back from Uncle Sam (finally). THIS year, I plan to do with it what I want, and thats save it. Old boyfriends and ex-husbands can live paycheck to paycheck all they want, but those days are over for me. ... Tomorrow morning is the only day this week I'll have to sleep in, and I'm going to take full advantage of it. Night!

I have been impressed with him from the day I saw him on American Idol last season, and even moreso now with the release of his first CD. (back in November?? where was I?) Here's a Giant, Happy Sunflower for ya! Even though its a late summer bloomer, I figured I'd do one as there is no other flower on Earth as pretty as the sunflower. I finished this one last weekend, and made a bunch of Zazzle products with it (of course)...lol I have been trying to finish up my faerie series. This past winter, I was on a major drawing kick, and the only thing that would come out of my pencil were loads of fairies. Well, I havent finished them all, but I've decided to take a break from that and do my first abstract triptych (which I will photograph at a later time, and get it on here). I also am working on a Healing Tree. Victoria Ray on Zazzle has an amazing web site, and she encouraged me to do one. I'm having a ball with it! I'm hoping mine turns out as gorgeous as her's did. She really is an amazing artist!

I SO love this Lady Liberty, if I do say so myself. She just makes me smile. For me, this piece represents that even though we (America) may be going through a dark and rough period in our history right now... there is always hope as depicted by her torch and the shining light it radiates into the night. Hmmmm... I guess this can represent dark times in anyone's Life, and having the faith to hold onto... till better times come around. Staying positive is paramount, but sometimes it can be really difficult. I ordered a free purple "complaint-free world" bracelet as advertised on Oprah's show from a church in TX - Christ Unity Church?, I think. I'm going to make a go of it, despite everything going on. :) Anyway, enjoy the art! The original is available on ebay, and I've made quite a few COOL products out of this image on Zazzle. I finished the last bridal / wedding design of this year! I've named her "The Beautiful Bride & Roses Fairy," and I think she's gorgeous! Her eyes are so peaceful and serene and happy, and I love the large open ivory roses on her headpiece and in her bouquet. She was a lot of fun to create. I love weddings.... :) Now, I can design more Zazzle products with this new image. I'm addicted to Zazzle!! ... And, speaking of art... I received some WONDERFUL & honest insight into the first postcard I designed for my marketing materials from Stuart. Thanks, Stuart! I'll use these up first, but then its back to the drawing board. Thats ok... they're fun to make, and are essentially free, if I wait for a sale. All I pay for is shipping. Good deal! Nancy and I are painting on Friday. WoooHooo! Can't wait!

A while ago, I had been in a looooong drawing phase, and now I'm in a painting phase. It's either one or the other for me with art. This new bridal / wedding piece is part of another product series at Zazzle, and the original (of course) is available on ebay. ... Kathie emailed me last week about painting a piece of wood for the converted garage that is now a playroom for her kids called "The Room." At first, I said yes. The more I thought about it though, the more I realized I wasnt the right woman for the job. She wants cursive lettering, and I'm not great at that. Today was another "bad mood" day for my roommate. A hermit existence. No fun. No socializing. No sunshine, etc. I really need to start planning for my next "move." I cant and wont do this much longer. I wonder if I'm spelling the word TRAPPED right...

A bad day, but new art

I can't really spread the real reason I had a crappy day, but suffice to say that I need to learn how not to let other's erratic mood swings affect me so much. I did get an apology, but its like the saying goes.... a day late and a dollar short. The other reason my day totally sucked was because when I woke up, my heart was jumping out of my chest. The home health nurse came to give me the 3rd IVIG infusion, but when we called the doctor... he said to cancel this last dose and just do it again in 3 weeks. Thank God. The first nurse on Wednesday ran the IV stuff in me over 2 hours, instead of 4.5 hours. I've been feeling really bad ever since. The bad mood thing with this other person didnt help any either. If there was a reason for it, I could try and understand. BUT, there just never is. It's a CLINICAL thing. The only thing I know to do is save my money.... when I even start getting income. The one saving grace I did have today was that I finished the first knitting (fairy) design for Miriam. I had a preset color combo from her to use, which made it VERY challenging, but I really enjoyed the creative process. I hope she likes it, and if she does, I will be making magnets for her to sell in her new store up in Vermont. She, and her husband Nick, are both very nice people, and I'm really glad I've met them. I have my first across the board 10% off sale on ebay using their new Markdown Manager feature going on, as we speak. I'm hoping I get some bites without having to send pieces to online auction. I'd rather just sell out of my store! Tomorrow, I'm hoping to finish another artwork. I've got some Zazzle product work to do, too. (My new Palm Trees by the Sea greeting card won Today's Best!!)

I was browsing The Zazzle web site (http://www.zazzle.com/folkartblonde) when I stumbled upon their official Blog (http://blog.zazzle.com/). It's a new feature. One of the recent posts, written by a Zazzle employee, was about 49 of the coolest Zazzle Galleries. I almost fainted dead away when I saw MY Gallery listed there!! OMG - how cool is that?! I wish they would email you when stuff like that happens... VERY exciting since I've been working really hard at designing products lately. Mine is the only green one down towards the bottom. :)

IVIG started back today at the house and with a new nurse. 1 day down and 2 more to go. My head has been hurting all night long something awful, and I havent slept a wink because of it (side effect of the medicine.) It's been 4 weeks since I've had it, and I was getting kinda worried since the benefits of the drug wont kick in for another 2 weeks. After the infusion, I thought a Mack truck had hit me. Combined with the Benadryl I had to take, I was zonked! Like I said, 1 day down and 2 more to go.

For the last 2 days, I have been on the phone non-stop trying to get my long-term disability benefits coordinated. I havent had income since December, and if it wasnt for my Mother... thank God for mamas! They are dragging their feet, and are requesting information over and over that they already have from myself and my doctors. This should be illegal. I think the whole system is designed to make you just give up and become a wandering homeless person who holds a sign beside the highway off any given exit ramp... "Will work for green beer since it's almost St. Patrick's Day!!" Good GOD, do I wish I could go down to Limerick Junction in Virginia Highlands with my friends. I know the place is going to be packed all day long! There's nothing like a bunch of drunk Irish wanna-be's listening and laughing to real drunk Irishman playing his songs for the crowd. Memories.... :) - I sold 13 t-shirts for St. Paddy's on Zazzle. The most popular design was: My shamrocks are bigger than yours. :) There were some pretty awesome designs for this fab holiday on there from other designers and artists, so I felt lucky and honored to have sold that many. To your right, is a painting I did last spring right when I first opened my ebay art store. It has since been sold, but I had to post the image because I feel like I am juggling the entire world right now. If I could just have income again... it sure would relieve a lot of stress and anxiety. What do other people do who have no one to fall back on in a crisis? There's got to be a better way than the current system.... there just has to be. Again, thank God for my Mama.

Thank God, it's all finally over with. The negative stress is nothing I need right now at all... well for that matter... never! Mark my words. I will never do this marriage thing again as long as I live. I'm not into taking verbal/emotional/mental abuse from someone who pretended to take wedding vows seriously, and then tried to blame ME for HIM bringing all the problems into our marriage. I will always love him, and he will always hold a special place in my heart, BUT.... I'm much better off being single. I can do what interests me, and not have to worry about babysitting a grown man. Its funny... he's now seemingly "taking care of business" in his life. Had he been aware of his issues when we first got married, we couldve had a beautiful life together. How I was supposed to know there were much deeper issues than irresponsibility and immaturity going on? (I'm still pissed about not getting the fridge.) At any rate, its done. ... Out of the Hospital

Finally, after 2 weeks & 2 days.... I've been sprung from the hospital. Due to the injury to my left leg, I had an enormous blood clot. I'm surprised it didnt kill me right off the bat. My doctor put me on a blood thinner for the next 6 months so my body will have time to reabsorb the clot. It hurts so much to walk. The muscles feel all bunched up in both of my legs. ... Tomorrow is the mandatory mediation for the divorce proceedings with Rafael. The battle begins...

This weekend has been the total pits. I did not sleep a wink Friday night, and I wound up sleeping all day on Saturday to catch up. And.... ever since IVIG stopped on Friday, I've been having insane headaches. I'm so glad that the doctor changed the treatments to every 3 weeks. I'll get a break, at least. I've been doing some reading on the CIDP message boards, and it seems that out-of-control blood pressure is part of this disease. No wonder its been so up and down for the past 6 months. Maybe thats part of why my headaches are so bad, too. Oh well... another bad card in my poker hand of life. Do you think I will ever beat the dealer?

IVIG is done for the week

My wonderful home health nurse, Debbie, came today for the last of 3 IVIG treatments today. I dont have to have it again for another 3 weeks!! Dr. Kiely said that they cannot use Rituxan on me for CIDP. In "people like me," there is a small chance of brain infections and/or for the white matter of the brain to start to deteriorate. I'm willing to take the risk. I've been reading the CIDP message boards from people who have been there and done it (not doctors), and they all seem to have had excellent results from it. I think its worth the risk, but Dr Kiely doesnt seem to think so. For me, its about quality of life in the present and future. If you dont take risks in your life, you never get anywhere. Democrats are resolved to the status quo, and I am nowhere near being a Democrat, wacked out lefty liberal. On another note, my anxiety level is rising everyday the closer it gets to the 30-day status hearing on Tuesday. I know everything is in my favor, and he doesnt have a leg to stand on, but just having to go and see him... its not going to be pretty. I'm glad its at 11am....plenty of time to get there without having to fight traffic. More later....

Rough time at Hyperbaric yesterday

Nancy has been really sick, and so Mom has been taking me to Hyperbaric this week. We were going to zip over to her house to get the wheelchair, but decided not to disturb her. So, this week I've been walking all the way from the front lobby down to the HBO clinic with the walker. Yesterday, about mid-way there... I started feeling faint, and luckily got inside and found a chair before I fell. Dr. Marcus checked me out and she thinks I may be hypoglycemic as a precursor to being hyperglycemic due to chronic steroid therapy for the last 20+ years. She gave me the name of a SJH PCP who happens to know all of my specialists. I DO NOT WANT TO BE DIABETIC!! Good God Almighty.... when it rains, it pours. My poor body has been through enough without adding that crap to the mix. I know I'm going to need some "in denial" time on this one. On a much happier note..... we're having a winry mix of sleet and freezing rain! Yesss!

The 2006 holidays were relaxing, as I spent 2 weeks in the hospital right before Christmas for a blood clot in my right arm caused by an infection in my hand. Who knows how that happened! I've started to finally feel human again for the past week. Yay!

Finally, on January 5th, I was served with divorce papers from Rafael by the Fulton County Sheriff. How stupid can he be? I'd bet a million dollars his homewrecker slut girlfriend put him up to it. Little does she know that she badgered him into something thats just going to make it worse for her little, mixed up in the head boyfriend. And, I do mean "BOY." I hope she comes to the hearings, as I cant wait to see the look on her face when she finally learns the truth about Rafael. I've started having chest and stomach pains due to stress because of all of this, but I met with my attorney again this past week, and she totally calmed me down... at least for that day. lol The battle begins...

I had a very nice dinner with Dad & Maureen the other night, and we talked for 3.5 hours. I was so glad I went, as I didnt realize how much I missed them until I saw them. I've got to make myself pull out of this depression. I see Jim tomorrow afternoon, and I'm hoping we can get somewhere with that then.

I wish that I wouldve been able to have them in the mail by now, but as it seems, I am back in the hospital with a blood clot in my right arm. I'll be going home in a few days, if all goes well, and will be giving myself Heparin injections. Lovely. I hate needles. Susan, the 4west manager was kind enough to loan me a rolling computer for the night, and I've been able to get alot of emails and such done. 2007... hurry up and get here. I got home from the hospital this past Tuesday, and its been hellish ever since. I fell in the bathroom that evening and sprained my right foot. I had to go to outpatient physical therapy for whirlpool the next morning, and I was sick as a dang dog. They cancelled whirlpool, and sent me straight to the ER. Mom and I stayed there for 6.5 hours. Diagnosis was severe dehydration. I kept telling the doctors while I was in the hospital, but I guess no one listened. ER pumped me full of fluids and confirmed the right foot sprain. My right knee was ok. The next day, I stayed in bed for most of the day (Thurs) and pumped myself full of Gatorade and other fluids. I could barely get out of bed my blood pressure was so low. I did manage to fall again in the bathroom that morning, and I either sprained my left foot or broke it. Hurts like a bitch. Nancy just laughed when I told her saying, "As if you didnt have enough trouble walking." lol Finally, that evening , I started feeling better. I was able to make it to the clinic the next day, had my whirlpool, but they decided that outpatient wound clinic was the best route to heal my injuries. Saturday and Sunday (today) were a complete wash. I slept for most of the day both days. I feel better now. Its almost 2am now. So, I'm up to 42 falls since May. What a fun Life I lead. God, I promise not to try and make myself happy anymore because when I do go for things that fill my life with warmth... I just get knocked down again. I wish Grandma and Grandpa were still alive, as I know they would've done everything in their power to see that I was ok mentally and physically.... just like Mom has. They were not "hands off" kind of people. But, I think I'm wearing Mom out. Between what Lisa did to her, Kathie's undiagnosed status which would explain her behavior, and the attention I require.... she isnt having much fun during her golden years. The only consolation is how much money she'll get when I kick off. At least, it will right the wrong that Lisa did. I wish that crazy person had never come out of her womb. This picture says it all. I'm sick of everything.... If I go to bed now, I'll get 6.5 hours of sleep. After 2 full days of sleeping and resting, I dont know if I'll be able to. I'm wide awake now.

Dr Durham finally let me out today with 10 more days of IV home antibiotics and 10 more days of silvadene leg wound dressing changes to my right leg. That was way too long to be holed up in the midst of 4 walls. My body is wearing out - no big surprise. It's only 10:45pm, and I'm already wiped up from the day. No belly aches tonight - thank God. IV nurse is coming out tomorrow.... does it ever end?

My wounds on both legs are healing and look much better than yesterday. Physical therapy will need to wait until next week, as I am still too weak. Finally.... I found a picture of my new chocolate brown standard poodle I will have some day. He's beautiful, eh? I want a girl, though, so I can have a litter of puppies. I cant have my own kids, so I might as well have poodle children. All I need is my own 1-story, 3-bedroom house with a flat, fenced-in backyard thats big enough for a pool, covered porch, sun patio, small greenhouse, and a garden. Thats not too much to hope and dream for, is it? Of course, I'll need to be able to walk properly again for that to become a reality.....

Early, early Sunday at around 5:00am I fell again. This time, I slashed my left lower leg on something. Mom usually doesnt hear me when I fall in the middle of the night, but this time she did. I didnt even know I had cut open my leg (didnt feel it) until Mom started commenting on how blood was everywhere. I looked down and there was adipose tissue coming out. No doubt we had to go to ER, and this time it was not going to be N. Fulton Reg. Hospital. The SJH MD had no problem sewing it up, and he wasnt impressed with the wound until he saw the wound on my right lower leg from falling a week or so ago...... He consulted my ID doctor, who happened to be on call for the weekend, and I was promptly admitted. They started antibiotics and consulted the wound care nurses and ordered a MRI. I finally got to see Dr Knowlton on Monday morning! What a sight for sore eyes. I've missed him! Turns out, that Sunday morning fall was a blessing in disguise. More later....

I got home last Thursday from a 6 day hospital stay at St Joseph's with acute pancreatitis. I started feeling really bad Saturday evening, and so Mom went ahead and took me to the ER. I was so weak I could barely walk. The shit hit the fan as I was being triaged, and an unbearable pain came over my abdomen. I must've sounded like a grunting pig.... it was hard to breathe.... i was nauseated.... couldnt lay flat... my stomach was huge and bloated......the works. The MD came right away and did his thing.... they gave me medicine and oxygen, and finally the pain eased off a bit. When the labs came back, the MD came back and pressed on my upper abdomen right beneath my boob.... and it hurt! Bingo.... acute pancreatitis. VERY painful, and not something I want to feel ever again. I went back and forth between clear, fat-free liquids and a low fat diet. Every time I ate real food, I got the unbearable pain and diarrhea. What a big, fat mess. They finally said it was caused by the Imuran I had been taking for 12 years, but the only drug thats changed has been the steroids. (I personally think its that.) I also had about 40 lbs of excess fluid on me caused by the increased steroids. I had been trying to taper down, but every time I did I got those awful "nerve attacks." Dr Knowlton was out of town AGAIN, so Dr Gowda started Lasix. I lost 15 lbs overnight on one of the nights. I also had been told I couldnt get out of bed by myself. (did you just hear me sigh?) I wish I hadnt told them I had fallen 37 times since May 15th. So anyway... I was sent home on a fat-free liquid diet for a couple of MONTHS. How about you trying to eat jello, yogurt, pudding, ice cream, and cream of rice every day. Finally, I had enough. 3 days ago, I ate 5 grams of fat without pain. The next day I had 1 gram of fat. Today, the IVIG nurse (Betty) came and were discussing diet. I'm not getting any protein, and if I dont.... my muscles are going to start breaking down. So, Mom fixed low fat, sugar-free Frenchtoast (2 slices), and I think I went to Heaven during the 10 minutes I was savoring every bite - 6.5 grams of fat. I also ate a baked potato (fat-free). My abdomen became very bloated this evening with some "pancreas tenderness" so tomorrow will be all liquids with only 1 slice of french toast. I have been watching the Food Network on TV, and I dont know if its helping or hurting!! Tomorrow is day #2 of my 5th cycle of IVIG, and I think on Friday after IVIG my PICC line gets pulled. I'll know tomorrow when Betty comes. My new ID doctor (Dr Durham) is a card! He did all kinds of blood cultures and tests on me to make sure the PICC line was not a source of infection. His background is paramedic then RN then MD. He thinks we worked together on 5-west when I first got out of school. Definitely, he's seen it all.... and he's got the best bedside manner that rivals Dr Knowlton. I was blessed with excellent doctors this hospital stay - they were all fantastic! Zooming to today.... balance and muscle strength still are awful, and I am still dependent on the walker. I fell this morning (#37)... just lost my balance and fell on my butt. 5 months ago, I had a lot of padding back there, but I am losing weight steadily, and my booty still hurts from it. ........... The picture is from Flickr by a photograpger named Patrick Lavin. Its an angel from a cemetary, and I think she's so beautiful. Some photographers play around in photoshop and tint their photos blue or red, etc. This one is untouched and just stunning!

I took 35mg of prednisone this morning, and NO nerve attacks! I think I'll stay on this for a week, and then try to go for 30mg. The nurse came at 9am and gave me the 2nd dose of my 4th cycle of IVIG. I had gone to bed at 2am the night before because I couldnt sleep, and then got up at 5:45am for the same reason. I dozed off and on during the 3.5 hours she was there. I was able to get my Flying Nun commission 1/2 done before the nurse arrived AND still had time for Cherrios! :) Mom took me to 2 art stores for paint in my new wheelchair. By the time we got home... I was completely wiped out. When we called the neurologist called last night, he said that IVIG messes up your electrolytes, and thats why people feel so bad during and after. Well, I dont need to join.... I'm a full-fledged member of that group already. ... And, on a much lighter note.... take a look at those beautiful standard poodles! I want 2 apricot standards, but these 2 dogs are just stunning!

As the day wore on into the evening, I found myself getting weaker and weaker. I usually am wiped out from IVIG, but never this bad. I was having to lay down on the floor to rest in order to crawl another 5 feet,.....trying to get to the bathroom. Finally, I got so weak that it felt like my life force was draining away. Mom called both doctors. The kidney doctor said to take 10mg of extra steroids (which we did right away). The neuro doc said for her to observe me and then "make the call" to go to the ER tonight or not. I started perking up during the 2nd phone call, and feeling much better. The more time passed, the better I felt. (The steroid) was kicking in. Whew... saved me the cost of a hospital visit. Tomorrow, I am splitting my 10mg pills into quarters, so I can taper even more slowly. Its the only way I know that will work. So, that was our sassy Wednesday night. I hope we have a really boring night on Thursday. Mom and I are long overdue for some peace and quiet and worry exemption.

Monday I woke up feeling much better, but still with the excess fluid issue going on. Knowlton and Kiely are aware and have spoken at length with each other, but when they talk to me... they put it back off on the other doctor. My CREAT turned out to be 2.5 (yay!!!!) and they said the fluid retention was from the high dose steroids. I am to start tapering back down to my normal maintenance level, and they will try anoter immunosuppressant. Last time they did that, I got pneumonia. I have not been able to get down past 40mg of Prednisone due to those damn "nerve attacks." Yesterday, I dropped to 30mg, and they started back up again. I only have a few seconds warning, but if I'm near a chair and sit down fast enough, I can nip them in the bud. Its just when I'm going from place to place and they start... its a nightmare. I can handle the little ones, but when they get going full force... I feel like I'm going to be paralyzed, and then my next thought is... "I'm gonna die." I use the walker all the time now. I dont feel safe without it, as I've fallen 34 times since May 15th. I've got bruises everywhere, and a BIG, nasty bruise on my shin that hurts if you even glance at it. The home health nurse came today for the first of 3 days of IVIG, and as usual.... I am totally wiped out. Thursday and Friday will be repeats of today, and then it will take 4 to 5 days to start feeling better/recover from getting the drug. Mom has been a complete angel... taking care of every need and being so patient and loving. She took me Monday to obtain a wheelchair, so I was not housebound anymore. It was so nice just to be able to go to Walgreen's and shop by myself in the wheelchair, while she did her own shopping. Freedom is everything. I went too long without IVIG that it was getting almost impossible to move around, get out of chairs, etc... I have been doing a lot of crawling (like an animal) from place to placee. I am getting really good at figuring out ways to get myself around without calling for Mom every 2 seconds. Creativity is working in my favor here. Other than all that.... I'm really wanting a Maple Syrup or Vanilla Yankee candle for my room. I dont know why I'm on a Yankee Candle kick... maybe steroids dont just cause food cravings! :)

I'm getting weaker and weaker in general by the day. I cannot go anywhere without the walker for the past week. Today was the worst its been so far. I'm moving at a snail's pace. Only fell once, and thats because my legs buckled and I slumped to the floor. (32 falls and counting since May 15th) Its getting hard to breathe normally, but I know I'm still behind the line in the sand. I doubled up on my Bumex yesterday and tonight in hopes that will help keep the excss fluid out of my lungs. So far, it has, but my feet, ankles, and legs look like tree trunks. Mom put a bedside commode in my room for tonight, so I wont subject myself to falling on the way to the bathroom tonnight. I had a long list of things to do today, but I was too weak and had zero energy except to sit up for a while and take naps in bed. If I can just make it till Monday, I could avoid an ER charge, and hopefully be a direct admit from home on Monday. My biggest fear is that they will go ahead and put me on dialysis. I'm not ready for that prison sentence yet. Crap. Would I ever be?

I visited with Rafael today. It was our first official discussion about how we are going to divorce. Very emotional. A lot of crying. Exhausting. Productive. Sad. We ate dinner and shared a piece of cheesecake. I got a few things and then he took me home. I wanted to share this piece of art (again) not for its relation to the Mexican holiday, but as a symbol of the "death" of my marriage. It appears that I will not be allowed true happiness with anything for any length of time in my lifetime. Maybe next time around..... Rafael got a good view of how bad I am doing with mobility these days. The walker is my best friend these days, and I'm afraid to walk without it... even though I had 3 of my worst falls WITH it. In my head, I'm having a ping-pong match about how really worth it is to stick around in fucking miserable torture. One day I'm up for it, the next I'm not. Mom has been on my case and VERY negative for 2 days in a row which is not helping. She's running out of steam probably... I dont know how well I would handle watching my child's body deteriorate before my eyes. She's been having chest pressure as well. I finally convinced her to "let me experiment" on her and I gave her a Nitroglycerin. Chest pressure went away, but she's sure its not her heart. I've only been doing cardiac nursing for 15 years, so I guess I dont know what the fuck I'm talking about. Last year, her EKG and Treadmill were negative. So what. Gross tests provide gross answers. I guess she doesnt know how many lives I've saved in the hospital after a "normal" Stress Test and EKG. I want her to have a cath. She's already declined. Maybe John can have some input on this one. I'll call him tomorrow. I'll feel much better IF I'm wrong, then IF I turn out to be right.... and its too late. I wont even bother Kathie with this. She's probably too busy leafing through a sales catalog trying to figure out what set of china to buy for a dinner party...... Or averaging the last 5 years of Blake's touchdown scores. And Lisa? I wouldnt want to interfere with opening her 10th bottle of wine for the night celebrating how much she took her own Mother for a "fuck you and your golden years" ride. Definitely, I'll speak with John. At least the sanity factor is balanced out in this family somewhat. I'll stop there.

School is back in session. Rafael and Nancy are working with the same type kids this year - Behavioral Disorder (BD). I hope they can repair their friendship as soon as possible. In the meantime, this folk art piece was painted in tribute for all of the hard work teachers do for our nation's children.
